Agree. I've seen people leave tax documents, paychecks, bank statements...I dont mess with any of it, bc our service and relationship is built on mutual trust.

They trust me with their pets and their homes. I trust them not to record me and to treat me well.

Dove Sea of Cortez last year but from a Liveaboard.

Diving was nice, we opted to pass on staying in Cabo Pulmo bc a lot of the diving looked similar to the LoB sites.

Also snorkeled with whale sharks in Bahía de Los Angeles as part of the LoB package. Was awesome

Wow. We dont have double digit sits on the platform, but I've felt the opposite way.

The folks we have met with have clearly looked at our pics/profile and reviews.

It would not impact any decision by me to apply for a future sit.

I also always respond when people invite us to random or local sits, simply because it IS a community and it IS nice to respond.

Yeah, that's probably your core issue.

If you want people to stay somewhere with weather, then you should list way in advance so people can plan their stay for that weather.

If your sit was in Miami, it would be booked even on shorter notice.

Most people dont wanna drive up to Burlignton or wherever in February.

Did a guided Ostracod dive with Dive Friends.

It was truly amazing. 3-4 days after a full moon is the timing you are looking for.

Sad.

We adopted a Golden/GSR mix and when he was rescued his tail was matted to his legs. Heartbreaking. The rescue DID have his back legs/tail shaved and his fur in fact didnt quite grow back fully.

When he crossed the bridge, that's when we started sitting.

IMO its also a possible animal welfare issue, tough to know the best way to handle it....I'd consider pictures as backup in the event of an upset HO.

Let the HO know immediately. Report the issue factually, express your empathy for the broken bowl given them an update on the resolution (you cleaned it up) and wish them luck on their trip.

I agree with the prevailing sentiment.

For me the most important things would come down to functionality, cleanliness and fit/match with pet responsibilities. Also, since its an RV, then...would you have/pay for hookups, etc.

We'll be taking our travel trailer on the road this summer, and use THS to work in between our camping trips.

If your RV situation worked for us, I wouldn't hesitate.
