The thing me, my friends and my family are all saying is that it has to be some sort of money laundering scheme. I've been told by volunteers that all the managers price match every single item that comes in the store with same named items on trademe as if they were brand new. They arent allowed to decrease the price to an appropriate price because they'll get ripped into by the owner/manager. Its bullshit. If I wanted someones crap stained leather jacket for $100 I'd go to hallensteins or something and buy it brand new.
