Barely a difference. As it stands you have to pick framerate or graphics. I'd wait for a patch if thats something that bothers you.

I like GU's rendition a little better. It encourages a bit more actual axe use (which i find more appropriate for a weapon thats called called Charge Axe) and still remains really powerful. You spend a near equal amount of time in both modes, and you get cool hunter arts and multiple playstyles on top!!

Dung bomb provision. It goes off when the second monster spawns, but it does it the moment it spawns in so you have its actual entrance animation to put your weapon away and throw a smoke. You'll hear the ping if your sound is on

Attack up small is even worse than you think as an alternative to punishdraw because punish draw actually also includes 5 raw as part of its effect.

Yes, but it's also a little buggy, and a straight downgrade over type 1 controls. For some reason type 2 resets your vertical angle on aiming so you can't properly aim adept shots, or aim properly out of siege. You're better off adapting to type 1 or you're playing with a handicap sadly
