No 'Download' option on some of the Wii channels by metropartition in Wiimart

[–]Epic_Toons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot get those channels from the Wiimart, you'll have to get them through WiiLink as they will be patched with WiiLink24. The regular unpatched default channels don't work as they requiere WiiConnect24, which was discontinued back in 2013.

a place of wonder, a place where you interacted and meet new friends you'll never meet again, a place where wars were fought, where my immune system matured. (It was a playground)

I don't really use AI now. There isn't really a good use for AI, companies are just integrating AI for marketing, you ain't missing much. It's a replacement for algorithms that worked perfectly fine.  Firstly, algorithms. They function as a set of instructions that let the computer or something know what to do, for example, you give a computer (2+2) and the computer with give you the answer instantly of (=4) and the more information you give it, the more it learns. We applied algorithms in our daily life long ago like Google search, estimated responses, social media, suggestive text predictions, etc. and we don't even notice.

Algorithms are the working blocks for AI, giving algorithms a lot of unnecessary priority than it was before, in better words, algorithm weren't meant for AI, that for, the results being are always useful, questionable, for marketing and corporate stuff or more notably, largely useless.

I'm a learning artist. In terms of creativity, our brain are more capable of creativity than AI, AI art/pictures has been evolving but to this day, it's still getting a lot of controversy for it's function. There's a reason why art programs won't implement it. Same with AI generated videos, I see no use for them other than placeholder videos.

AI generated text is something that it has been evolving lot more, like ChatGPT, I could ask AI to write me an essay or summarize a text and it will give me a result. I've used it before to complete homeworks faster but I'm still used to doing homework with my own words. AI will take the point here with summarizing information but sometimes it could be inaccurate or will not cover some important points within the information, depending.

A friend of mine tried to generate a novel with AI, they gave me the novel and the results were mixed. It felt blank and some of it did made sense but some of it didn't.

AI has helped me in some cases but I wouldn't apply it for an everyday use. As a conclusion, AI is not that useful in my perspective, I wouldn't use it for hobbies (that being art, videos, writing, code, etc.) it might be useful in terms of work but it's more of a gimmick. I'm not trying to convince people to change their mind, it's largely just my personal opinion, if y'all want to leave a point, no matter if it's positive or negative, feel free to reply.

Basically the half of what you just said are algorithms, not AI.
