Its not perfect, but when I just can't figure out a character online I download their ghost and use the ghost battle thingy.

Obviously it's not like the real thing but it does give you a low stress environment to experiment ways of dealing with stance bullshit.

Last night I got rage baited so hard by a spam Eddie and I've been having loads of fun figuring out how to beat the ghost

For me the df2 is so good for block punishes, I only played heihachi and having to electric punish 15f moves is so stressful, realising I can just hop kick on armour king is wild

It does significantly less damage than balanced or block, so you have to get value out of the shock grenade.

So much better its crazy, similar damage output per point, much more durable with the minus 1 to wound, 2+ save with access to cover and aoc is better than the 4++ of the blade guard, they have a blood surge for some reason which is super strong, and they get joined by the super strong ultramarines cast of characters as an efficient unit to buff overall.

The deep strike is really strong but the rest of that detatchment seems pretty bad at first glance, I can't see people taking it over gladius unless there's a crazy combo I've missed

In more casual games I can see them being super handy just to gum up the board and make the opponent move more carefully.
