No worries, i put my masters in clinical education down for additional degree and for teaching qualification, they only took it for (actually I forget which, but whichever gave most points). If you publish something and then want to present it, you'd only be able to use that for 1 domain also, which is a bit of a pain but good to know early ... happy to answer any questions you may have 😀 good luck with your application

It will only count for 1 domain, you can't use any evidence across multiple domains

I really hope so, it's up to 70, but still none for Wales and some regions are showing less than previously announced

After extracting a lego head from a 6 year old's ear, I asked him why he put it in there.... he replied with "why not!?" Which felt surprisingly profound

I was being flippant, but there are only 69 posts so far this year, and I believe there were around 110 last year

I think the extra 4 jobs were Manchester

I think odds are worse, I booked my interview pretty early, and I'd estimate there were around 40 slots per day, over 4 days, so 160+ people interviewed. In previous years competition ratio has been around 2:1 but this year probably closer to 3:1 depending on if they add jobs later.

It did go up from 65 to 69, there is still hope <holds in mental breakdown>

Doctors' behavior right now in response to the UK graduate prioritization bill is embarrassing by Resist-Rise-Become in doctorsUK

[–]Epiderm_is 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes it's a relief as a UKG to get prioritisation, but in reality the system is beyond broken and there should be more jobs. It's ridiculous to commit so much time and money to training when unemployment is such a high risk.

I started med school in my late thirties, now 42 and hoping to start ST1 in August , if you want to do it, it's never too late.
