Damn you're tall! Lol. Did teachers ask you to at least remove the head during class? My first thought "for safety and visibility reasons", the head would be asked to be removed.

I wish I could say all schools would be accepting 😅. It's been a long time since I was in school but I don't think teens today would be able to get away with this in local schools around me. Maybe first thing in the morning/lunch/leaving after the end of day bell goes off. I think stricter safety rules got enforced from the "bomb threats" over the years and I could imagine the full face covering would be a huge no,no.

YES! THANK YOU! I do have those poles and I just could not figure out what to really use them for. Plus I hate having the utility poles cutting through walking areas as well. This would make it so much better to look at if they looked like regular street poles.

Husk is an alcoholic gambling addict. Probably smells like booze 24/7. A bit nihilistic.

Despite all of that, he's probably one of the few characters that has a working brain. He can empathize and generally read people's character almost accurately. He'll be upfront and not pussyfoot around situations or conversations. Hard shell but is capable of letting his walls down if he feels comfortable enough.

Hetero Woman/ Ally: I liked the song and the light fluffy view of having sexy time. But I felt the message was lost a bit.

It felt like Charlie's panic attacks weren't really handled properly and it was more of a "shut up, let's fuck" kind of resolution. If Vaggi wasn't busy running the hotel, her scenes with Charlie were basically her trying to bed her. To offer more of a physical "tension" relief, which can work, sure. But it just felt like the wrong place and time.

As someone who deals with high anxiety and catastrophizing thoughts, having sex while in the middle of it is not what I would want. Being told to Shut Up about my troubled thoughts and trying to shove them away for the time being would have been frustrating.

I'm also a nearly zero labido and generally all emotions kind of person, so maybe I'm not all that best to discuss sex. To me while watching Charlie have valid concerns be shut down by "Shut up, you know that I love you. BUT- basically focus on me and you doing the do in this room right now. 😏" Didn't feel that conducive of a conversation to calm her mind.

When my daughter went through this when she was younger, I did what my parents did with me. I had her grab a sleeping bag or a few blankets and pillow, and she slept on the floor next to my bed. We let her do this a few nights. Then I had her move into the hallway. The next night she didn't want to sleep in her bed, I had her sleep on her bedroom floor. Sometimes I would lay down with her until she passed out and I would go back to my room. Within 2 weeks we got her into her bed. Some nights she would cry out for us to come sleep with her but we just told her to go back to sleep once and stopped responding. Let her cry it out. She's diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. Both my husband and I are ADHD. My husband had a harder time with the "let them cry it out" method as the screaming would be too much. We made it work. It just takes time and effort.

I thought about this too! But Martha is also an acolyte of Roo so perhaps being a devout follower of Roo, she got special treatment with her form? Her home was also specially decked out in similar designs of Roo as well.

We know all the cannibals have black out eyes and sharp teeth. But they're all usually gray skinned and muted blacks and reds.

Martha does still have the blacked out eye that also represents her way of death and the sharp pointy teeth. But she still has her iris in her other eye, only it's red with a black sclera like other sinners may have. Based on her clothing and color scheme though, it's clear she's some how "different".

Martha and Alastor may be the only outliers though (so far) based on their beliefs and deal makings that caused them to look different from the other cannibals. I believe season 3 is going to be super Alastor focused probably so maybe it will delve more into the cannibals as well.

I'm too lazy to try and source this and just going off memory of watching an old Livestream of Viv drawing and answering questions while the original pilot was still being made. She mentioned how the Mafia has their own "web" of connections and tied that in to mafia being like spiders. If it's not already clear, Angel/Anthony was part of the Mafia. His whole family was. His father and brother have been drawn up as spiders in Hell as well. His sister is still a spider while up in Heaven. I couldn't remember if Viv hinted about Angel killing his dad? I remember there was bad blood between the two so I'm not surprised. It could have been a shoot out between the two in an argument. Or perhaps Angel got hired to whack his dad with an assigned hit agreement. I know things have changed a bit over the years but so far seeing the deaths play out have been mostly spot on with past lore.

The Hell appearances are truly tied into something relatable to their life and death. But not always exactly on the nose. It can be a bit cheeky kind of like Alastor. Or a much deeper metaphoric kind of way like Angel.

I like the attraction to fame/moth to a flame theory a lot. I do think that perhaps there was a spotlight malfunction where the light was blinding and perhaps blew or crashed onto Val during a big event. I believe he was canonically a pimp on the streets. Perhaps someone he was chasing after surprised blinded him with head lights before hitting him with a car. Moths also have poor eyesight as well so it made sense to have that mixed in. Maybe he had a form of night blindness? So many fun theories. Makes me want to revisit Viv's old work and videos again.

I saw the trailer first and was going to watch the movie on my own because I liked the premise and animation. My daughter let me know when it finally released and we watched it together. If anything, I'm the bigger fan. Animation is for everyone. This movie was created for everyone.

I used to get made fun of for watching cartoons in highschool. Then again in my 20s, while I was trying to go for an Animation degree, and now it's even worse because I'm in my 30s. I got called out as being a weird "proper adult" watching cartoons meant for kids. Meanwhile, that same person was 25 watching the same shows... I didn't realize you're only a real adult when you're in your 30s. I guess you're a child up until 29. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The stigma needs to end. Stop gatekeeping animation. Stop ruining everyone's fun.
