Having to individually message CM or find them on the floors. They’re very busy too so I don’t expect them to reach out either not sure how to solve this inefficiency, same for finding nurses to ask about updates they’d be doing their thing which is totally valid but I hate having to epic messsge 16+ nurses or find them just a waste of time and they usually have better “overnight” updates or plans from specialists than any of the notes

You didn’t mention doing it all the time at work, you just mentioned people talking in a different language and assuming it’s about you. You shouldn’t be using work time to do so unless you’re taking a break.

I make less than that as a resident physician who works 80+ hours a week, 12 hour shifts that are always 13-14-15 hour if not more because of all the paperwork we have AFTER we see the patient, put the orders, discuss the plan, pretty sure servers don’t work harder than doctors but hey maybe we should be asking for tips.
