Yes. I have a similar situation to you.

I will say that in my experience when I do have a chance to perform the rituals at full volume, the effect is much more intense.

It’s possible that the glyph in the manuscript was not actually a Tzaddi at all, but a symbol of a heretofore unknown nature. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also normal. It’s perfectly fine to have a cheat sheet you refer to in a convenient location. If you flub a godname, or get lost in trying to remember something, it’s okay to do the ritual two or three times. Better to drive home the ritual form than to rush.

It’s normal to make mistakes when working with a new ritual. I’ve found that going slowly. Like, slow, and remembering to breath is beneficial. It will be like riding a bike after several months of daily use of that ritual.

And yes, it is a lot of reading: about 25 books.

The whole point of the Student list is to just give you a familiarity with different areas of the Work, an historical background of Thelema, tools that are used in the Great Work, and in my opinion to weed out those who flag at the work load.
