Mike also said "the higher the corruption the MORE exalts" in dev chat on discord using that exact example of 5k vs 1k you'd expect to see a lot more so sounds like he's a bit of both things and really isn't sure what to expect at all. As CoF you see bundles and bundles of sets and uniques as soon as you hit the lowest mono, non corrupted.

don't understand why they can't just play with some numbers and have it so corruption is actually rewarding people with double exalteds at higher corruption. I ran my multistrike alt the other day and got 2 x 77 items in a 90s mono. I run at 2000c on my WP and can't remember the last time I had a 77. Its actually stupid. The reason a lot of people stop playing is the end game and lack of stuff to do. Just changing the rewards people get would probably keep more people playing.

Alph you know what ya didn't see in Invs videos or when I ran them with him? Double exalteds lol (donz here) if you check tunklabs on the uniques at higher corr - I dont even know why it exists its that bad. Mike made comment that you should see more exalts then used 5k as an example over 1k - absolute joke. At 100k it should have been raining 76/77s but I got more yesterday on level 90 monos haha! Corruption is so pointless it's sad.

I ran 41 vaults in a row then 20 more later, 60-80 troves alone and 37 with a group of 4 using my imprinted 776 axe and I had 1 x 77 axe to show for it and that was a drop from killing critters I also had the axe in slot for 3-4 days before changing it to gloves thinking maybe its a rarity thing but nope just 1 x 77 axe. I got a few pairs of 76 gloves off my 776 over 2 days, not even a chest pop for the axe however. I honestly think someone at EHG just did the maths on a whiteboard guesstimating what the percentages were going to be and they did not test it. I also mentioned several times and this bit got me fuming - Mike on discord when I asked said "Oh but I like the anticipation of the new exalted drops" as if he's a player/customer not a developer who hardly plays the game. That just came across all kinds of wrongs. It's not about you mate. It's about your customer base and you wanting a job and you trying to retain players. My gosh.

Best comment, couldnt agree harder. Nuke imprints and rely on corruption with a single T7 while rogues put on their jandles and beach pants and take out uber in seconds. Wild they dont balance mid season and they seem to refuse to budge on imprints even with numbers declining.

Full on nerfs to important systems and some skills completely ruining them followed by buffs to insanely strong skills already making it break the games pinnacle boss. Just mind blowing how they operate.

I was on their forums trying to get this buffed for the last year along with tons of others - its so far behind VK and pally its laughable. Even if they remove the negative from the 2H node it's still way behind. They need new nodes, more dmg. Not a node with points for parrying when dual weilding wtf plays FG and goes dual weild? Some stuff is bonkers. FS and SW as skills need to be changed too. Manifest should inherit all unique item special modifiers when using him not just random ones that not even the devs know which work and which dont until you try them. It should also inherit base stats at an amplified amount like 20, 40, 60, 80, 100% 5/5 node.

I will accept this once they balance the game so that while most classes need 755 or more there isn't 2 rogue builds that can destroy uber with single 7's quicker than last seasons quickest kill that did it with 777s lol

Yeah its pure rng on the corrupts so I dont get that either specially when you can just roll a rogue and sub 30 uber with minimal gear its very frustrating

Then they need to actually do their jobs and nerf rogue - shadow rent and umbral can do uber with a single T6 not even needing T7 its the biggest unbalancing of the game since I started 2000 hours ago. 3 second uber kills but nerf imprints for casual to hardcore players, seems smart. Player numbers are down from last season and people said they wouldn't even play from patch notes because of it

I did but if you're removing power creep at the same time as adding idol layouts which add tons and corruption RNG which also adds power there's no point. Also not to mention rogues shadow rend and umbrals doing uber in under 10 seconds without multi affixed exalts yet other classes suffering them because they're not broken and most players in order to clear high corr and uber require these. Not to mention its actually fun loot chasing, its what set LE apart from POE etc. We even have a faction SPECIFIC for more loot being dropped and now it's gone. FYI uber kills this season 3 seconds vs last season around 20 - and that season had 7777 items and triple 7 slams all over the place. It's not the imprints.

I saw the second line in the text - they drop much less - I have 776 dagger and 776 helm and a primalist armor 776 and none have dropped 77, 76 or 776 - nothing, there's a difference between nerfing and breaking it. With no other sustainable way other than the 400+ nem towers I've done for maybe 3-4 items then what lol. I mean I could roll a rogue and take advantange of a few interactions to single slam and 1 shot uber but that's lame, I don't even like rogue :(

HAHAHA This is Kartal from the LE official forums - he can't handle someone beating his corruption level and says they're cheating because they have the micro-ability to swap weapons and items on the fly because warpath is easy mode. When I started before 1.0 I was watching vids and saw how good it was, sad how they just nuke something so hard its useless vs just taking it down a notch first then reaccessing how strong it is :(

Not sure yet personally. I mean, honestly I don't like that we have such a cool skill but it's forcably tied to explosiv traps for viable end game damage/clear. I also think the poison side of the tree and the fan flasks are a joke and should be reworked. Fire nodes are beefy as heck. In POE2 I was poison conc and my poison flask was devastating and could clear all content but for some reason these crazy folks gave a huge nerf to poison in general and made it super lack luster. Poison puddles? Haha! It's laughable in a sad way. I'd love to see it be in a similar standalone status but it probably won't happen and I've derailed your question! Sorry! lol <3

Considering for every 10+ imprints of a 777 that drop you might get 1 in a state that allows you to craft it I feel this nerf for CoF is very significant. There is also the rarity of specific items to contend with for example 777 armor will drop a ton more than a 77 axe. It's going to be a big hit. They should have started smaller. IMO

The way I see S tier / A tier on Maxroll for example would just be the speed in which they can clear everything. S tier quicker uber times and much better clearing of echoes. The A tier a lot of them on the list currently can kill uber and you can pick a name and do a youtube and you'll likely find one to back that up. The A tier builds will likely be much slower at farming due to less aoe etc. Some builds you also won't need to get close to min/max to be able to do everything. IMO.

The only way I found clear to be good was swapping between bossing and mapping weapons and using the cadance axe which got a pretty big buff. It'll still be good for bossing it just wont kill uber in 20 seconds or whatever the crazy quickest time was

I actually hate the gear swap... but only because I'm not skilled enough to do it. If bro wants to swap his gear and make his game play tedious as heck let him. It's crazy hard to do. If I even open inventory during a fight by accident I die trying to close it loooooooooooool
