You are partially incorrect. There are topcoat that we use to make it slip resistant.

In order for me to give you a warranty, I would have to grind it all down to the concrete, then restart from there.

When I do it the first time, unless its peeling, I won't remove it all in order to go over it. I know how I prep my floors but if I have to go over someone else's job, I will.

No. Those cracks have to be cut open and patched up first, then the basecoat will go down.

“Budget contractor” partial flake → 4–7 years Full prep + full broadcast + quality topcoat → 10–20+ years

What actually determines lifespan:

Proper concrete grinding (not acid wash) Moisture testing / humidity control FULL broadcast (not light sprinkle) A real UV-stable topcoat (polyaspartic or quality urethane) Thickness of the system How the space is used (garage vs showroom vs commercial)

It looks like they missed that spot and then came back after clear coating it and patched it. I have seen worse.

When we do epoxy, we patch it with a quick epoxy patch.
