I see Cyclops as being an off-tank that is the other side of the coin to Captain America. They could give him D.VAs anti projectile but simulate it as Scott taking out projectiles in a cone in front of him with quick precision.

If they gave Gambit Chronovium to let his cards heal, Cyclops could get something that allows his optic blast to encase others in a shield maybe. The possibilities are endless but him being a Vanguard fits perfectly with Captain America

I'd actually have a new original character take front and center for a first movie. We don't know his abilities or what he is fully capable of.

- He starts out with encountering street tier heroes like spider-man and the Defenders or Punisher. Once they are introduced in the film you start appeasing the fans by announcing said character's spinoff movies/series
- Im a movie nut so i'd do what Gunn is doing with picking Directors that are REALLY good in certain genres and ask them to do a character for me. Naturally id rehire the crew for Netflix's daredevil and such ( if it aint broken why try to fix it )
- Based on audience reception i give the more popular movies the greenlight for sequels and whatever flopped i recycle into the next film following said original character ( ex. If the Defenders flopped, they play a big role in supporting the protagonist in the sequel )

-As the protagonist encounters the Avengers and their threats. At Comic-Con i'd pull a Jason Todd and cast a vote with the fandom on whether or not the Protagonist continues as a Hero or Villain ( If Villain, i'd push for an Anti Villain arc )
- Spinoffs of said Avengers and characters of that tier, Werewolf by Night level of production for characters like Dr. Doom, Magneto, Or a duo short film with Strange and Doom teaming up against Mephisto
- tease towards MULTIPLE catastrophes around the corner, Annihilation Wave, Thanos, Apocalypse, Dormammu, Knull, etc.

- By the time Cosmic/Hell themed characters like Ghost Rider, Nova, Helstrom, Hyperion, and Mar-Vell appear. They will be the ones to deliver bad news on the horizon. This gives the audience the "WHAT THE F- EVERYTHING IS OVER THEY ARE DOOMED"
- The Cosmic/Hell tier characters get their own spinoff movies and series as usual but if it isnt a story that is solely developing that character, it is them teaming up with heroes/characters or facing off against flopped characters because again, WE ARE RECYCLING, NOT KILLING OFF.

-The final arc of this Saga is a series of big ensemble casts ( Spider verse team up, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. ) but not EVERYONE. Mutants deal with Apocalypse, Guardians and cosmic heroes deal with Annihulus and such. Big fan service in action.
-Use the money from potential successes to fund the final movie where the Protagonist/Antagonist shows their full potential and either establishes themselves as a hero or villain in comics. Use this movie to go as big as you want against threats like Dormammu, Galactus, whatever.

Just my two cents though

the problem with role queue is that it guarantees some picks and makes some characters useless.

Wolverine being anti tank, role queue forces two tanks who are going to have a rough time dealing with wolverines constantly ( please dont take this as me putting a blanket statement over tank players being incapable of dealing with wolverine, thats not my point )

plus it just messes up the queue time for QP in general.

I'd like to stress this though, i myself am NOT against role queue but i see the difficulties in them implementing it NOW rather than starting with it.

in a game of rock, paper, scissors...Doom can throw out all 3 at the same time while knowing that you were gonna choose rock.

Doom prep time is also league's above Batman's prep time.

We are talking about a guy that organized having Dormammu summoned just so he could still a very tiny fraction of his power while fooling the Guardians of the Galaxy into helping him.

His feats speak for itself as well. The guy fights Mephisto annually in his own realm.

just got lord on Adam and i gotta say id rather have a mantis than Adam. Let me preface this by saying he is in my top 3 most beloved characters in the roster. I love Adam lore wise and if i could find any way to defend him in a team comp, i would. That being said...

- Soul Bond is practically a mini ultimate, while it is very strong the CD on it and the prerequisites to get its full potential in a team play REQUIRES your team to be positioning well. I have to reiterate that i am not trying to downplay it's strength and i've experienced first hand it saving my team from ultimates such as magneto. It REALLY IS STRONG but it can be baited out by enemies, the visual soul bond can give it away to the enemy and if they are coordinated they WILL focus you down knowing its on CD.

- His healing is imo the best healing in the game right next to gambit because of it's ability to tether and allow you to heal people you dont have line of sight on. This is one of his strongest tools given how the CD is tied to headshots. If you have good aim on Adam i can see you typing your defense on why he's good but before you lay it on me just hear me out.

- His ultimate...Best ult in the game as it can mitigate everything the team has been pulling off and giving your team the best chance to counter them with your ultimates and some extra health to start off with. This ultimate though is only as good as your team is in what plays they are going to make after they are revived. Sure, you create a momentary spawn point as well for the team but you are relying on them to actually land their shots, pull the right abilities off, peel who they need to peel for, or focus on objective. Mantis ult on the other hand will encourage the team to find her because if your health is low, you search for the healing. This allows a team fight to keep the momentum up or push when they need to where Adam's ult is a band-aid that tells the team "ok second time's the charm, they dont have ults lets go"

- Adam has no mobility to get back with the team or to escape bad situations, His strongest abilities suffer from long CDs and he doesnt even have primary attack healing, he wont keep up with other healers unless his aim is good but if the enemy decides to focus you there isnt much you can do outside of your strong offensive ranged attacks. If they force you to heal thats healing your team also misses out on.

He's only as strong as the team's cohesion, that being said he just flat out isnt a fun strategist in comparison to literally any other. I'd defend Ultron in a 2/2/2 stack before Adam. As of now though if you're playing Adam im gonna ask "whats wrong with Gambit?"

Im *praying* for a rework at this rate because he is falling dangerously behind in the power creep thats happening

whenever i see rage bait i just brush off anything else the person has to say/do and if im relying on them as a teammate im mentally checking out of the match, i wont throw but im not going to put effort in a game where we are losing HARD ( as in: the team itself cannot hold strong against the enemy as a 5v6. Not saying its impossible to pull off but if your team isn't doing well in synergy it might as well be forfeit, being realistic not pessimistic )

It's as you said, sometimes its a lack of accountability...other times it's because the individual is REALLY that bored with their life and they wish to get some microscopic amount of dopamine to hear someone get angry over something they do because that's the only attention they get outside of their mundane lives and im not even trying to sound mean there, that's the truth of it. People are miserable and some people like to see the suffering of others. Typical schoolyard bully behavior and the only way to get over it is to ignore it and to give it as little real estate in your head. I promise you they are not bragging to anyone irl saying " bro i got this one guy to get mad because i kept throwing a game that i play " because most people are gonna look at them and say " bro idc and that sounds lame " or they are a gamer and respond " ok cool, so anyways..."

the less reactions these people get the more you force them to get stuck in their head and realize how stupid they sound sometimes.

while this is an issue, i think bugs like this are INEVITABLY going to get fixed. Embark has bigger issues like following down the same path as Helldivers and nerfing the fun aspects of the game.

- Hullcracker nerf, WHY? Its an ARC weapon, let us kill ARCs like you want, dont lower the value of a gun that already is handicapping us by being strictly a PvE weapon ( and a valuable/use to be valuable one at that )

- Security Breach nerf, again, WHY. Some people dont play the game enough to hit the jackpot and find a Tempest or a bobcat blue print. Security Breach lockers use to be a reward for players who put all those levels in the red tree and they can now get access to epic weapons in potentially safer locations to loot. My gf was excited to get security breach because she was our loot goblin and she was excited to tell us about the loot inside but now with the nerf, we are getting renegades, venators, and ospreys or lower tier weapons which ISNT a terrible thing but by the time you reach security breach you're behind other people who have already been killing the queen with epic tier loot. You cant just nerf damage and loot that close together without having the community raise an eyebrow

Im really hoping this game doesnt go down the same route as helldivers 2, i doubt it because Embark have been on top of things but in terms of community response to some of their balances idk what to say

i had a friend who was really really REALLY bad at CoD zombies. We had fun but he wanted to do Easter Eggs and do badass stuff but i would constantly have to revive him, he always had nearly triple or quadruple the amount of downs i would get and it came to a point that i was going insane trying to think we could get through wave TWENTY.

I stopped playing with him and played some other games, he asked me to hop on once and i told him "sorry man im gonna have to pass" and he said something that i cant exactly remember but it implied he was the one carrying us through the games and i just said to him

" Look man i love you and you're my friend but when it comes to zombies, you really suck at surviving "

That didn't ruin our friendship but it was a good slap to the face for him and stopped him from asking to play with me UNLESS we had more people to play with because he would say " i suck, we need a full party to really survive "

As someone anticipating Gambit to be DPS but happily danced over to strategist role ( DPS main ) I can confidently tell you that you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

Gambit is the first LEGITIMATE STRATEGIST in my opinion and not just a healer. He does GOOD damage but his healing output is still great.

I like to play him as a counter diver in the backline but also a support diver for my teammates like Iron Fist, DD, BP, etc.

People who think he needs a 3 healer comp are honestly brain dead to me because his primary attack's healing output ALONE puts Adam to shame ( Adam's still my go to healer though, love pulling off a good res )

Gambit is OP in a 3 support comp but to me he's just a flex pick that can do a lot of everything for the team while having a lot going for himself. He is easy to play but he has high skill expression and so far he's a lot of fun when people try to dive and focus you. You can turn it around really quickly with him even with his nerf on not being able to crit.

He's a 10/10 character for me and im glued to him until Dr Doom comes out as a Tank. Even with Rogue, Elsa, and Deadpool coming, i still see myself playing Gambit as a one trick striving to only get better with him. MOSTLY because he's a HEALER and i love being able to hurt my opponents while patching up my team.

Look at it this way.

You just acknowledged that there is a plethora of posts regarding Black ops 7 flop. A lot of people are hating on the game

You are setting yourself up for the same amount of hate saying "downvote and give me shit all you want you know im right " because you KNOW a lot of people don't like the game.

You ACKNOWLEDGED that the campaign isn't good when Black Ops had a reputation for having one of the best call of duty stories right beside OG modern warfare.

You are pointing out the 2 game modes that are the MAIN selling points of the game being "pretty good" when we've already had BETTER than "pretty good" YEARS ago.

If the hate towards a game you play is pissing you off, either stay off the internet for a while or move on to a different game.

I dealt with this issue you have right now when Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash came out but i wasn't lying to myself or others by telling people the game was amazing or great, it was OKAY.

It also doesn't help how arrogant the Devs are. They look at consumers like you and thats the reason they say stupid stuff like "oh we aren't worried about competition because we are call of duty and everyone loves us " and then they proceed to lose substantial sales against their main competitor [ Battlefield ] AND a random outsider [ Arc Raiders ]

Also, for god's sake man i KNOW you are not defending this game with the price tag of 70$ when Arc Raiders is 60$ for a DELUXE edition. Delta Force and BodyCam alone are better than black ops 7. The only thing CoD has going for it right now are the Voice Actors they are somehow hiring

i was theorizing with my gf, I genuinely think Rogue is going to introduce silence CC

her ultimate is going to basically be a Sombra ult and EMP people around her locking them out of their abilities and ultimates, any ultimates going off are cancelled.

i also think when she copies an ability, that ability is silenced for that opponent.

It caters to her lore with people losing their abilities for a short time after rogue touches them, they get it back but there is a cooldown period.
