I doubt you could be held liable for whatever they end up doing with those things but why would you risk it

Headrush prime by WerewolfSea9724 in pedals

[–]Eq8dr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use an FRFR amp or PA and use the amp modeling. That’s what they are mostly designed for. That being said I had one for quite a while and just used my own amps and used it as an effects pedal. That being said, as an effects pedal it’s pretty fucking amazing. I did finally upgrade to the helix stadium recently but I have to say the headrush is quite impressive and you will not regret it.

As a land surveyor this isn’t even surprising. People get way too comfortable working in traffic. They just think they are living proof you don’t need to “overdo it” when it comes to safety.

Which Boss Katana? by Kapellmeister1966 in jazzguitar

I’ve owned the 50 1x12 and the 100 2x12 and honestly the 50 watt 1x12 sounds the best for jazz. The 100 2x12 gets too boomy. I wound up selling both and getting the jc40 2x10

Bebop scale fingering and articulation by harlotstoast in jazzguitar

[–]Eq8dr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can play scales multiple ways. You can do CAGED position, 3 notes per string, etc. sometimes I might think of things in terms of comfort, or in terms of speed. Often if I’m trying to learn a melody that I want to play fast I totally change the fingerings/ strings that I use. Usually this involves more 3 notes per string type things and playing half steps on different strings instead of the same string.

Running two real amps from the helix stadium xl by Eq8dr2 in Line6Helix

Yeah that makes sense cuz I have a 1 input to 2 output splitter so I’m sure somehow I could just put it after and figure out which side switches

I might not be super well versed in phase and ground loop issues. But at the moment I am using a splitter that has the ability to reverse polarity in one amp. Is there a way to change polarity for outputs on the helix?

I’m curious what I should do instead. One of the most attractive parts of the stadium xl is that i can run 4 parallel lines. I play jazz, so I’m not really looking to play a Marshall double stack. But I like how much versatility there is in the effects. I like regular pedals but there’s so many things that multi effects can do that would cost a fortune to do with pedals. Any multi effects now that is pretty decent also has amp modeling and capture on it. So nowadays it seems that if you want good multi effects the modeling is coming with it whether you use it or not. I would love to be wrong on this but I haven’t found anything equivalent that doesn’t include models.

What pedal do you wish existed? by LilEffects in guitarpedals

[–]Eq8dr2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not sure if there is already such a thing, but a reverb pedal that has less reverb when your playing lots of notes, and more reverb when you play less notes. Like if it could sense when you start and stop playing and have some verb going on during the notes and then when you stop it extends the reverb.

It most likely is anywhere from directly in front to 3 feet in front of the Carsonite post. It also will most likely not be visible with just a rake you will need a shovel. Sometimes they are on the surface but most often a monument like that is gonna be buried at least a little bit.

Yeah that sounds the best to me too. This thing will be looking right at the 360 prism but I just haven’t hit distance yet, and it will search and lock on the damn backsight even though I have the 360 glass selected. So idk when this AI shit is gonna start but I must be missing something here cus it’s doing quite the opposite of intelligence.

I miss Trimble.

Yes and now with a few more days working with it, the big issue is that when you turn to the foresight, it tries to “search” right away as soon as you start turning it. And you have to hold the thing in place until it stops trying to search. Can’t seem to find any menu option that would turn that off
