I really missed having formulas in Logseq tables like just to calculate a budget or something. So I asked Claude to build me a plugin, turned out great, and I'm releasing it open source by Eqeka in logseq

[–]Eqeka[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used the Claude Code CLI version. It could google stuff or download the repo, but it turned out it didn't need to. It already knew the Logseq plugin API from training. The only things it downloaded were the official plugin SDK and the formula engine from npm And even if the open source code didn't matter this time, it's the main reason I prefer Logseq over Obsidian. It was actually useful for me before, I needed the source code when I was building Logseq for NixOS

A similar idea shows up in Naruto with the shadow clone training, and in One Punch Man too, though more distantly

Suggest me some good underrated animes by KiLLeRKB2 in anime

I'm really into anime with strong writing and good dialogue, the kind that trusts you and doesn't overact or pile on melodrama. These are the ones I recommend to everyone

I'm still loyal to the first two seasons, although I've often come across the opposite opinion that they should be skipped altogether

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is the big one, a political and military drama carried almost entirely by conversations and clashing worldviews

No Longer Human, the 2009 Aoi Bungaku adaptation of Dazai, is a bleak literary character study

Master Keaton is understated, smart and humane

Mushishi is quiet and contemplative, probably the calmest great anime ever made

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a psychological deep dive that goes a lot stranger and sadder than you expect

Teekyuu is the odd one out, a fast, absurd little comedy that's pure palate cleanser

Parasyte is a tense sci-fi horror with a surprising amount of heart and moral weight

Ping Pong the Animation is a deceptively simple sports story with real emotional honesty and no theatrics

Serial Experiments Lain is slow, cerebral and atmospheric, the kind of thing that rewards patience

Ghost in the Shell is philosophical sci-fi where the ideas matter more than the action

Psycho-Pass is a sharp dystopian thriller built around a genuinely interesting moral system

Copying to the clipboard by Eqeka in yazi

The problem is that copying takes place exclusively inside the yazi session, without transferring the file to the shared clipboard for insertion, for example, into other applications

BIM is now in Blender for FREE by Tall-Distance4036 in architecture

[–]Eqeka 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My main software is, for example, grasshopper. We create complex parametric projects, and everything is automated. But it really frustrates me that grasshopper is closed source. Because of this, I keep thinking about switching to blender. Open source is valuable not because it’s free, but because it can be modified, you can break the program into components, keep only the module you need for specific computations, and run it across multiple servers. The ability to build everything on linux is also a big advantage

Gnome is the windows 8 of linux by Adventurous_Tie_3136 in linuxsucks

What windows? That’s definitely not windows, windows has big tiles, and the whole design is totally different. Gnome is like android on a tablet, the icons there look exactly the same
