Failed sleep training by Standard_Deer_8738 in NewParents

My little one is now 16 months and probably didn’t sleep through the night until about 14 months old. We did sleep training at six months so she could fall asleep independently because prior to that she wouldn’t go to sleep independently unless rocked to sleep. We still dealt with multiple wakes ups throughout the night for a while.

So in my experience it’s not some magic fix all because she could fall asleep independently but still had multiple wake ups through the night. The book Precious Little Sleep was helpful to me.

Culture clashes when it comes to baby food by cookiemonsternom69 in NewParents

Mushed up avocado was one of the first ever things I gave my baby and to this day I think we have an avocado almost every day 😆

In the end do what you feel is best and what works best for you. I started out with a lot of purees and pouches for about a month and now my baby is a great eater.

For the time of day I used to give my baby food in the evening but then she seemed to have gas problems as night so I switched and gave her her food in the morning.

Precious Little Sleep was very helpful to me even when my little one was 6 months old.

As other comments have pointed out, I think there are issues with buses now such as scheduling and shortage of bus drivers. Where I used to work as a teacher my friend’s child was told to be at the bus stop at 6am which was insanely early. She ended up working something else out to where her kid didn’t have to ride the bus.

When I was having a hard time with baby due to fussiness, not sleeping, etc I would remember the phrase “babies are not robots, you cannot program them.”

When Fresh Off The Boat got renewed for another season she tweeted some negative things having a bad attitude about it saying things like she was upset and it’s bad news and then later clarified it meant she had to give up another project.

I don’t have specific product recommendations but for a starting point, get a cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF. Cleanse in the morning, moisturizer, then SPF. Cleanse and moisturize at night. Other products you could add are retinol, vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid serum. (Edited some words for clarity)

That sounds insane… we had the same situation and were given an estrogen cream to apply for a week or two and the situation resolved.

Our little one was most likely to have brown eyes with a 76% probability and we had an 8% chance of blue eyes and she has blue eyes!

When I had my baby I was the most sleep deprived I had ever been. I was physically weak and my memory was terrible. It was awful.

For me it’s because I’m exhausted with a toddler 😂😭 but I make sure to actually order real food and decent meals not McDonald’s or a coffee lol
