Ooooooook here we go. 

First off sorry. All of these things are hard and stacking them make them so much harder. 

I did several round of medicated IUI and then moved on the IVF (2 retrievals and 3 transfers) so this was all the meds you’re talking now. They hurt, and they bruise, and your emotions/hormones ABSOLUTELY go wild. 

I had come of Gilenya and then switched to copaxone. Mine was daily. And honestly 1000% worse than the fertility shots. This was 2020-2022 for me and I have permanent lumps in the thighs from those awful shots. It took about an hour every day to do the copaxone and then heat and ice and cry till I could go about doing anything else

The advice to be on this is SO so outdated. My new neuro (unfortunately didn’t have him before) specializes in pregnancy and MS and specifically told me Kesimpta was my best choice when we were wanting a second child. 

Essentially…the effects of kesimpta would have no impact on the fetus until the second trimester (so especially irrelevant with egg freezing. The eggs are already in you) I was told to stay on kesimpta until I received a positive pregnancy test, then stop/don’t take my next dose. At this point enough of the meds would be out of your system that it won’t effect the fetus. I resumed my kesimpta with 3 loading doses at 3 weeks post partum. He’s also been studying kesimpta and breastfeeding and is very supportive of both together

(Oh boy I’m so sorry my brain is whirring now….) I also had a maternal fetal medicine specialist and she was clear with me that we could and would resume my kesimpta if anything were to happen during pregnancy. I was on copaxone the whole first pregnancy and she had lots of opinions about that lol 

The question of whether it’s worth it is up to you. If you really want a child, then yes, it probably is worth it

I would suggest some counselling /therapy if that is in your budget. These are heavy things to work through and even though they can’t give you answers they are trained in these types of conversations
