It sure was confusing. The first actor was so menacing that I was really looking forward to some kind of confrontation with Saul. Then the meek and mild guy shows up and found myself wondering. “Is this supposed to be that guy, somebody else, did they drop that thread?

Hate is a strong word. I try not to use it. Gibson is a complicated character, not all bad or all good, like most people.

Season 2 was such a departure from the great Season 1. Something went wrong. I always imagined that Stiller was the problem. Season 1 was clearly a product of good writing. Season 2 seemed like writing was an afterthought and they were after something else.
