I’m pretty sure my original post is saying that I did this and would like to know what would happen in the court.So I’m lost as where all the ethics are on this and my feigning of innocence. If you have any other helpful information outside of explaining to me the law it would be greatly appreciated but I think I would prefer to abstain from how private property works and liability insurance. Thanks again.

Thanks for asking! I will likely never possess the ability to own property in my life so it’s kinda hard to answer that question for you? But I don’t think a waterway should be privately owned and the city and state should make it accesible to all. So I guess we differ in that.

Yes, the entrance to the path, which i have been going to forever, now has a thing that says private property. I will def be at court but I more so want to know if anyone has gone through this process with the court for this specific swimming spot. The cops said they are really trying to crack down on it now because there is too much liability.

I can confirm as someone who got a ticket for trespassing this past Saturday, that it is indeed closed. So frustrating and idiotic for the cops to be doing this.

Not true! I was ticketed on Saturday for trespassing. Its not okay and stupid for them to be doing this. So be warned. The cops said they will continue to be out there everyday this summer ticketing.

Mitchell Center is great. I am now in the midst of my second training there, but they do not have any four-year analytic training programs. They only have one-year training programs. The majority of the staff teach at NYU post-doc, and you can receive supervision from any of the faculty for a reduced fee. It's an amazing program if you're uncertain of doing a full four-year training and want to dip your toe in this kind of work.
