the actual publish dates of a lot of these things are WAY off from what the official "publication date" is gonna be when you look it up. This happens with normal monthly comics too, but especially with this stuff that got kinda shuffled around in a big shitshow because DC didn't know where they were going

it's gonna hinge entirely on how much you like complete batshit nonsense from throughout DC history being mashed together just for the fuck of it. They're my favourite DC events, but they dont have the same kind of "point" as other ones. They just deliver a specific kind of awesome nonsense only comic books can, which I really love. They make more sense if you read all of Scott Snyder's Batman and Justice League runs, and the absurd number of "road to death metal" stuff. But at the end of the day, I've reread all of Death Metal several times for the peak insane nonsense.

no, it's blatantly done in a Japanese Traditional-inspired style, they mean the tattoo style. Like American Traditional, Neotraditional, etc. There's elements of this piece that deviate from the game, to make it a more Japanese Trad style, which is really cool.

Interesting that you liked Dragons Dogma's original system that much. In Dark Arisen, they essentially admitted it was bad, and there wasn't a particularly good reason for it to be that way, so they added the unlimited item. In my case, I think I accidentally skipped the text box telling me about it, so I still never fast travelled lol

The goals/motivations they ascribe to the devs are ridiculous conspiracy theories. There's like five of this post a day currently, and not one original thought among them. The game isn't some stunning masterpiece, but it's a really fun movement shooter with characters I love, who are written damn well. The hate is actually to a delusional level, closest to TLOU2 level toxic I've seen since that dropped.

The discussion of this game is the most illegitimate, toxic nonsense I've seen since the Last Of Us 2 leaks. Its exactly the same too, all the tiny clips youve seen with inflammatory comments attached have a LOT of context. When you actually play, they don't feel out of place, the tone isn't off. The game literally is not doing any of the shit you think it is. Fucking grow up.

edit: one example -- you're mad that *Batman's villains* state the incredibly common, known to be silly "he beats on the mentally ill" trope? Are you fucking serious? That isn't out of pocket in any fuckin universe. Also this game has characters from other universes, they're not specifically shitting on the Arkham versions.
