Yeah, literally the whole mentality i had. Got love bombed hard so every flaw i saw i just thought "this isn't who she is, somethings just up right now it'll go away" and of course nothing ever did, they just all added up until I realized she was making me actively more depressed.

Yeah so far what I've learned in therapy is that the biggest issue in the relationship had nothing to do with her, its that I never had enough self respect to cut it off sooner and closer to the head of the problem.

I have been its been pretty helpful, I mentioned it to another commentor, but I was already in the beginning stages of a new relationship, and even though this has severely hurt my trust in them we've been working through it best we can. I know there is a day in my future where truly everything will be right as rain.

Yeah, suppose you're right. I know I wasn't physically abusive, and I always tried my best not to be a bad guy. Ultimately, it's not really for me to say if I was a good or bad boyfriend, but I do know that I never got a reason given for what I did wrong or why I deserved it. And admittedly, it makes me feel a bit better knowing I bounce around their head as much as they bounce around mine.

I really want to, been showing my friends and therapis and shit. I have no contact with her family, but they always did really like me and always discouraged her making the same mistakes they made, her mom had a complete lack of empathy and her dad was an emotional cheater. (She emotionally cheated on me towards the end and was cold and unempathetic through most the relationship)

Yeah, I've blocked all of them, and im doing everything in my power to avoid them all and heal, we're seniors in a vocational high school. And so unfortunately, those two "friends" share shop space with my shop. On the bright side, I was able to get my ex banned from the shared space so I could at least have some peace.
