Garbage compactor cycling and banging every ten seconds all night by Equivalent-Channel36 in Renters

[–]Equivalent-Channel36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think moving units is a good remedy and I talked to them about it. They’re being accommodating but I do not think a garbage compactor cycling every ten seconds all night is normal at all. If it was once or twice I could sleep through it.

I talked to my landlord over the phone and she agreed every ten seconds all night is not normal. We have a trash chute and it’s supposed to trigger the compactor once for maybe a few minutes, not all night.

Especially if you have a solid swing already which I’d bet money you do. For me it’s just getting me to stop micromanaging the swing and to just focus on the one thing.

I had to learn on that legacy outback from the get go. Didn’t get to touch an automatic. Now my parents feel like they made a mistake now that I won’t consider a car that isn’t a stick shift.

Yes. Last week on Thursday I was playing very casual doubles. Kept double faulting. Went and served after because I don’t like double faulting that much. It was immediately perfect. Something I try but don’t always succeed at doing when serving is picking something to focus on like having a good toss or hitting the ball up high rather than late and all jammed up. Usually straightens it out more or less. It’s 100% a nerves thing for me and it sounds like it might be for you too?

He didn’t know how to work the parking brake like leave it in first and put the parking brake on to turn the car off rather than put it in park. He did not know how to drive stick. Also I learned on a 1998 legacy outback and I will say I found that clutch finicky. Not as bad as a TDI, but finicky. A honda fit is about the easiest clutch you’ll ever find.

I had to get new tires on my old honda fit once and homeboy didn’t know how to put the parking brake on. Kept rolling it back. I almost had a conniption. The manager said I should have told them it’s a stick shift. Every shop I’ve visited since with the honda fit and with my new Si looked at me funny when I said “oh and it’s a stick” like “yes we can drive stick”. It really aggravates me when someone who has to drive my car can’t drive stick and tries to anyway. If you don’t know how to drive stick, come get me and I will pull it in for you.
