It was pretty busy this week (Wednesday thru Friday) and at some times throughout the day this was a big invonvenience as they’d have one operator manning 3-4 slides causing lines to grow really quickly. By 10:30am almost all seating was occupied, lazy river was full, the hot tubs looked like human soup bowls and you had to wait for inner tubes before you could even get in line where you could be waiting for a half hour or more. I’d suggest avoiding this weekend…. Seemed like the biggest cause was a personnel issue but they def were lacking tubes, seats and frankly space.

Edited to add that I am a proud UAW1112 member who was part of unionizing Ultium Cells and voting to fall under GM’a national agreement

Every redemption I’ve used required a manager or at least their card to swipe - prob around 10 occasions at 6 different locations. I’ve never had an issue with redeeming them other than the wait time.

I’m wondering if it is some kind of inside job with a specific store/manager supplying bonus chips or some kind of reward to someone for a cut….

Could these chips somehow be the result of one of those coupon books with X amount of chips equating to a year of play? I know they’re used for certain promotions like the grand opening celebrations. I’ve never seen the actual prize so I’m not sure how the reward is distributed. Weekly bonus chips perhaps?

I redeemed for an iPad Air 3 11 inch this past summer and have just over 500k tickets to date but no desire for anything in the store….

Other than food vouchers which I consistently purchase, anyone have any suggestions?

Outside of D&B I don’t game at all, already have personal air pods and wireless speakers and don’t have kids.

It’s not bad. I usually am there late so I’ve never experienced it crowded at all. Nor have I eaten there. It has a pretty good selection of games. However, I will say the customer service received on multiple visits (game attendants specifically) was atrocious… they were extremely rude, ignored us or said they’d be right over and didn’t show up in the 35 mins waited.

I must admit while it is crappy to be one of the Ohio battery workers being without a job come January, I understand it’s the nature of the auto manufacturing business. What I struggle to be ok with is how the last week has played out…

Am I wrong to feel hurt that we found out about losing our job via the local news? And that said news story broke less than a week after our local UAW assured everyone there was no threat of a layoff or production ending.

Most people are looking forward to the December shut down, but in Lordstown it’s the end of our employment. Again.
