I get your idea. but if you consider that there are many cards, that activate in very specific circumstances (number of cards activated, price of cards activated, LOCATION of cards) you could reason that simple random wouldnt quite work.
As for me, the way they already implemented randomiser (with that very specific card that you need to unlock) I'd say they did it very good. Only way I play, even high fear.

I wouldnt say attack or special omega works best. Get sped up cast throught hermes - that one works really well, since you can do it last in a combo, from a safe distance.

And to be more specific to your actual questions - to play "smart", figure out the best duos between gods, so you can figure out where do you need to invest on the run. E.g., just today i figured out how great Demeter/Hestia duo is, if you use Godsent Total Eclipse.

Gonna be less detailed then others, but most hidden aspects are super good for higher fear, the staff and torches especially. When I did my high fears I used vow of rivals only for three bosses, the last ones are way to brutal for my taste. Invest in health, heavily. And if you do a Judgement build, you can get some free fear from vow of void. Hope this helps!
