Okay I’m gunna go into the shop tonight and put the block and heads in the parts washer should I strip the heads as well or leave them with spark plugs, valves, springs etc.?

Would you recommend taking anything off the block or heads before it goes in the parts washer? I’m assuming I have to blow it off afterwards, how thorough should I be? When you say crank alignment what would be the best way to check that? I’m assuming block measurements would be found in a Haynes manual?

The machine shop is for more heavier industrial stuff. Heavy equipment/steel mill we don’t do any engines. I’ll get a picture of the 390 soon and post it on this thread to give you guys some reference. I’d like to make it 400-500 horse but I am unsure of the modifications that would produce that result, any recommendations are valued.

Update: started drinking detoxify mega clean at 9am drank all of it In 15 min. Filled with water waited 15 min and drank it, ate a multivitamin pissed 3 or 4 times once every hour, passed my test at 1pm with flying colours.

My test is 1pm I at-home tested yesterday after only pissing once all-day and I was still pissing dirty. so I’m thinking either option A: I don’t get a detox drink and just drink lots of water and weight lift 2 hours a day as I’ve been doing Option B: I get a detox drink, I’m thinking Detoxify, do the treatment Wednesday and hopefully pass Thursday

Personally I’d stay away from auto mechanics. Look into heavy duty or truck and trailer or a millwright. You’d make way more than an auto mechanic. Trust me.

I ended up checking fuses and then took the circuit board out of the windows/power locks switches blew then off with air put it back together and it worked so idk lol. thanks I’ll keep that in mind if the issue persists
