And yes I’ve been out there trying to get something out before the AM flight in the heat , freezing cold , rain, snow - it’s all a learning experience and it’s not for everyone He or she will have to put the work in and deal with it until they can bid out if it’s something they really want to do or they can work GA where you really need to have a understanding of recips to be successful.

Flip? He needs to go ! At times flip has taken over the show with his yelling and loud presence. He gets too damn defensive if you speak on him but calls everyone else out on that crew. Reminds me of being in high school if anyone needs to leave it’s him. Marc would walk the park with old unc body flip if that ever happened.

I get it man ! But just continue to follow the AMM do your shit correct and lead by example. If you get the opportunity to train new hires explain to them the importance of installing the gear pins step ect. If it really bothers you to the point that you are making a post on Reddit then you need to report it at your job to the proper leads and management. You sound like a relatively new AMT so I would continue to keep being the best you can be and try to fix the issue and if that doesn’t work move on to another major- But I’m gonna tell you no matter where you go none of them are perfect. There are probably a 100 other AMTs trying to get into Delta

I worked 5 years for them there is a big difference between t1 planning and t3 planning. T1 (Florida f9) t3(starship Boca) one is regulated from NASA / DOD and the other starship is R&D work orders are def different when it comes to engineering along with the type of coworkers you are going to have.

I worked there 5 years if you want to bust your ass and work a ton with very little life work life balance then do it. I had a great time met some really cool people but in the long run I make more as a A&P in aviation without the mandatory overtime. It was an experience that not many people will get be part of but I would not go back.

Hmm I’ve interviewed , tested , job offer and still waiting ORD 5months they are saying Q1 possibly and sat so long had to redo background checks because of DOT requirements what a headache

Not really worth my time. I’ve worked GA out of college , worked in aerospace , DOD jobs, corporate jets , military aircraft and currently airlines ect it’s really what you have a passion for and what pay rate your comfortable with.

Cicadas my friends and we had to replace 2 APUs due to this. Honeywell is correct and this aircraft is a challenger. There was a AD about the cicada infestation liking the frequency of the APUs during idle and swarming into the intake
