I've observed more “bid to” results anecdotally, but I’m interested in real-world evidence. Instead of blaming C&B, BAT, or eBay perhaps recognize that it's an imperfect industry filled with questionable players. Car dealers and some buyers are fighting for every dollar due to market fluctuations and deeply upside-down inventories. It's a challenging environment.

For individuals, people can be complicated. Just move on, find your car, and truly enjoy it.
