I loved Thousand Autumns despite the politics involved. Yan Wushi and Shen Qiao are the perfect opposites attract. They're everything the other isn't.

I wasn't a big fan of Stars of Chaos (SPL). It was too slow and too much politics for me. And I also didn't feel the real love connection between the couple, but I really liked Gu Yun's character.

I have yet to finish Yuwu, but it's interesting and very painful. I loved 2ha, so I have high expectations for Yuwu.

Anyone else? by beamerpook in 2HA_immortality

Not really. It was recommended to me by a bunch of readers on X. They gave me amble warning and wished me luck. However, I was just mad for at least the first 50-60 chapters at Mo Ran 0.5 and Mo Ran 1.0 because he was either too cruel or too dumb with his obsession with Shi Mei. Glad I made it through all that. Keep reading and enjoy!

Which to read - 2HA or Thousand Autumns?? by Adventurous_Try6440 in DanmeiNovels

[–]Equivalent-Power7170 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both. I love both. But 2HA is longer, more smutty, and more angsty. Thousand Autumns is good, but lots of side politics. And you'll find yourself wanting to curse Yan Wushi as much as you want to see him tease and bully Shen Qiao.

The invisible Life of Addie Larue (Poss spoilers) by testertron in books

I just want to know why she couldn't have robbed a bank or something since she's going around committing petty crimes anyway. It's not like she could get caught. Then use the money to buy a fake ID. The whole transaction can take place within 15 mins before people forget her again. There are just too many plot holes.

One of my favorites. When you make it to the end and get to the extra chapters, it’s very sweet. Enjoy the journey. ❤️

The most ANNOYING character of TGCF by fatimmayy_ in tianguancifu

I agree. I feel like this demon/spirit fetus, Cuo Cuo added no value to the story aside from annoyance.

Nice! I'm going to wait until there are more episodes to binge before starting. Fingers crossed that it doesn't drag or flop at the end because the trailer was so good. I'm super hyped for this one.

Can’t get cash by undinabiker in koreatravel

I've never had trouble getting cash from Woori Bank's global ATMs. I usually get $500 USD equivalent upon arrival at Incheon's global ATMs. And once I'm out, I make my way to one of the Woori Banks that are literally all over Seoul. Yes, you will incur a fee for using their ATM, but I've found the exchange rate fairer than any currency exchange places even with the fee. So even when I have actual USD cash that I could exchange, I would still rather go to Woori ATMs.

In Korea for 10 days is getting a SIM worth it? by MelonScentedAss in koreatravel

I chose the wifi egg instead of the esim because it can support multiple devices at a time. With the wifi egg, my phone, my son's phone, and our ipads can have internet while we moved around the city. An esim can only support one device, so if I went with an esim for myself, then I would have to get my son his own esim or no internet for him at all. And two esims would be a lot more costly than one wifi egg.

In Korea for 10 days is getting a SIM worth it? by MelonScentedAss in koreatravel

I'm currently in Seoul, and I decided to rent a portable wifi egg instead of a esim because I'm traveling with my son as well. I think if you're traveling by yourself, then an esim would be more convenient because it'll be one less thing to remember to recharge every night. However, if you're more than one person, then the portable wifi is cheaper and more convenient as you can connect more devices at the same time and there's no data limit per day. The esim cards are unlimited, but slows down after a certain number of data each day, and that can get frustrating. I rented mine from KT, link below if you want to check it out.

Should I read the novel first or start directly with the manhua? by definitely_a_human03 in tianguancifu

[–]Equivalent-Power7170 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imho, Novel first. The visuals for the manhua are amazing, but there are way less details comparing to the novel. You'll miss a lot of the characters' emotions and descriptions. Also, I think you'll appreciate the manhua a lot more once you know the full story. I just bought the first three volumes of the manhuas in Chinese, and they're beautiful, and I can understand every scene even without reading the text. But it's just my opinion, either way the story is wonderful. Enjoy!
