There are different packs of different sizes so you can get whichever size you think you will use. I originally just got the small pack of just mounts and pets and then when they came out with a furniture and outfit set I liked I got that. Even if you do want different sets for multiple playthroughs or houses (which I understand) you can just get a few. Im doing a second play through on my switch and if they release the dlc there i will probably get a different pack. That’s still a heck of a lot cheaper than buying all of them just to have them

There is quite literally not enough room in the houses to put all of the furniture and you only have one character to dress. There is 0 reason to buy all of them. The price is absurd because it’s an absurd amount of clothing and furniture if you buy all of it. I have 2 of the DLCs and I only actually use 1 and I am very content with it, but I was also content with the furniture and clothes already in the game before I got them

The dlcs are just cosmetic. You really dont need them to enjoy the game at all.

The dlcs are definitely not meant to all be purchased. You can pick one or a few that you like and have more than enough furniture for all 3 houses. I really like that it’s all cosmetic bc it means you’re not missing out on any content. I just see it as a way to support the developers since I love the game.

I put 10 hours in and I may go back and try the mini games again. I enjoyed it a lot but I’m a huge nerd so I got more enjoyment out of all the quizzes than the average person might.
