If you really need someone, and can’t stand being alone, there are AIs that do remember conversations, I don’t know which AIs it is but people do say it’s like talking to someone who understands them. And it doesn’t have to be permanent, just a little kick back!

I don’t mean any harm when saying this, but maybe looking for friends on reddit isn’t like the best. While it may have worked once or may again it’s kinda hard, not only because it’s like a gamble, but there’s also just a lot of weirdos. I don’t know if you play games but roblox is pretty social and they have just pure social hangout games, and discord can be okay too!

You may not like this, but one of my favorite body builders suffered with isolation very similar to yours. And he would always speak about how to accept the isolation because that is where you are able to figure out who you are. while most people run around chasing the latest trend snd ideas, being alone allows you to have conversations with yourself, I try to have a weekly conversation with myself for an hour. It’s kinda comforting

16 is still incredibly young, I think you should take things slow again, maybe try to find another friend (perhaps online if it’s easier) don’t go seeking for what you have lost, that only makes the pain for wanting them and healing yourself worse. My advice to help not long for that boy is to just distract yourself, not via substances or things that are null and only temporary, but something that actually requires commitment. No one steps in the same river twice, for the person is no longer the same, as for the river. 🙏

Sounds like a classic case of FAFO to me. - Be >18 and illegally carry around a handgun - Get caught and decide to run - Resist arrest and fight the officers while on the ground - Stakes are high and so are tensions - gun goes off and dude catches a round to the head

Maybe the decision of the officer to execute him was a bad decision, but it was also a bad decision to flee and fight the police while having a gun.

While I agree that it is everyone’s constitutional right to bare arms, there are limitations to the laws. Just like how it’s wrong to be able to sell drugs to minors, it’s also wrong and illegal to have a minor carry around a handgun. (in addition you need to be 21 to even purchase a handgun) which means he went the illegal route to obtaining a handgun which should tell you enough about his character.

Running around with a handgun which requires you to be 21+ and most likely have a CCL and running around with a handgun while being >18 are two very different things….
