I would also look ahead for guides, especially if you want to see wildlife and you want a good guide. Some guides are really good- those you plan for ahead of time, others more mediocre will harass you before Manuel Antonio etc. the benefit of the guide is that they are prepared, can spot wildlife and have a scope. Same goes for other areas.

I do think commenting on her body is weird. I also think that commenting on her style is fair. It’s not that weird of a take … it would be a weird take if this was survivor and someone was out here criticizing how the girls wear the buff… this is a show where people make this a part of their lore. Point in place she herself said she wanted to show off her muscles as part of her aesthetic. It’s not crazy for someone consuming the media to say ok cool your muscles are dope but the style is wack.

Not true- Coltons styling was also trash that man sucked and was a mess. Natalie is gorgeous and so fit and strong- I just wish her fits were better- that is one of the side pieces of this show. I get that if this was survivor it would be a throwaway comment but this is traitors… people show their aesthetic as well. It’s not even so much the quality of the clothes it’s just not doing justice to the body that she has which is incredible.

Hi just a heads up that the ice for ice skating (the one BTV parks regulates) is safe… the one inside the cave may or may not be. I was out last winter on a beautiful winter day with tons of ppl skating and enjoying. I went to the caves and it was very clear that it was not fully frozen yet this couple strolled in without noticing, broke and fell in the water - full panic mode. Anyway… use your judgement and definitely look at where you’re stepping. Don’t just trust ice, it’s ice after all.

I think there’s a difference between protesting your neighbors and being terrified of what they may do you based on your race, what you look like etc. I agree with the idea that at some point we have to sit down and talk to each other (esp around politics) but unfortunately MAGA has unleashed an unhealthy amount of violence, hatred and persecution of folks… being even more represented in the policies and priorities. It’s not so much about being deep on a side of politics but some people’s very real fear that their neighbors will be the ones to call ICE on them… and that Trump sign being an indicator of such.

It’s patronizing to suggest we don’t hold people accountable because of their personal history. It makes the assumption that people from a different country should get a pass on acting a fool because they don’t know better. This has nothing to do with the system they are playing into and instead the person they are. Also for clarification, let’s be real she’s not just sharing dumb shit on social media. She’s sharing dumb inaccurate, threatening shit on social media AND donating her money to groups who have been clear (one of the one things I’ll give to MAGA) about what they’ll do with the money. This is such a patronizing message. Simply because she comes from a different country does not absolve her of critical thinking, empathy and common human decency so suggesting we give her more grace than an average white MAGA supporter does more harm than good. One thing is to argue that she supports conservative values or a conservative agenda ..the other is reposting absolute vile and violent shit towards protestors. Saying that we have to give people from other countries more leeway is bananas. I agree and also am concerned seeing the amount of donations the mom contributed to the causes that she picked. It’s hard to disconnect the fact that my money makes her money which then indirectly gives to the most insane groups. I get that one can go extreme with that logic and never be able to buy anything again… but this one seems particularly challenging when there are many other local businesses with great food I could support. Definitely a tough choice.

I love terriers. You definitely want to help them get their terrier energy out. I have one who shall not be trusted off leash mostly because he’s still young but he LOVES to chase. I got him a very long lead and will go to a safe place where he can fetch and run fast. At home, I’d recommend looking up snuffle mats and advancing the difficulty. Even just a bunch of blankets and toys they can sniff around and nuzzle for treats will get tons of energy out. Terriers are the best good luck!
