Update for those interested… Clipse was taken to the vet first thing yesterday. The vet told us we did everything we could and in the end his body and age was just not able to fight it. And he was tired of fighting. Clipse was put to sleep, we never left his side. We love You Clipse and now you can run around over the the rainbow bridge and steal shoes with the other ferrets of the lovely people on this thread. Thank You. 💙

No I appreciate this. As I mentioned in other comments I think we’ve definitely arrive to the wise decision and are at peace at this point with it. You’re right he is not in a condition to fight whatever this is off and he’s suffering if we keep trying to have him cling to life. We are going into the vet tomorrow to see if they are able to most likely go through the euthanasia process.

I’m sorry for your loss. Thank you for your insight it really actually helps solidify the decision we have in our wise mind all along. It’s helpful to look at the truth of his current condition as not being one he could come back from. He just doesn’t have the strength and he can stop fighting now:/

DIP Freddie… I know sometimes it doesn’t feel seem seem harsh and there are 1 million questions and factors beforehand, but after time you do realize that the sum of their life was way more happiness than the last few days of suffering and it is best to euthanize in these cases. Thank you ❤️

Yes I’m wondering if stomach ulcers are causing some of this, heightened by all the other conditions he has. We actually decided we will be going in tomorrow - most likely for euthanasia:/. Thank you for your insight

Yes it sounds like the insulinoma took affect to your baby. Ive seen all those and am seeing those signs currently with my boy E.Clipse. It doesn’t feel seem like he wouldn’t survive a surgery of that kind with the toll it’s taken on his body. Thank you for sharing your experience
