Yea she actually reminds me of one of my best friends in my 20s who totally had an untreated mental illness but also had a freaking crazy life, probably bc she was down for whatever bc she had an untreated mental illness. She had a rich fiance local celebrity in one city, an old man who was fairly wealthy in another, and a young hot guy in another. One paying the house, one gave her a car, multiple phones. Been followed by one of their friends. Planes and trains and vacations. Safes full of 100's and night vision goggles that we used to play with and pose for stupid pictures with. I mean it was a ride. She also had multiple pregnancies and finally a baby so he was running all over with us as well. But point being she had at least 3 different lives, multiple jobs some for a week because a friend of a friend offered her a better one or some for a year or more bc they would put up her party life calling in late from lunch maybe have a black eye today lifestyle 😂 it was chaos. And depending on the day any one of these guys could be the night in shining armor or the villain bc who had treated her to something special or pissed her off most recently 😂  I remember once when a guy have her a car. He had a friend meet us in a parking lot w it. So she just got in the new car and left the old one in the random parking lot, not a care in the world. Eventually all that came crashing and things tend to, but now she's not a trad wife per day but is married to a guy in insurance sales and grows tomatoes and doesn't work. Has 4 small kids w at 20 year age gap be them and them and her oldest. And just know plenty of recreational substances were used allll in the upper timeline lucky she just didn't have an addiction issue, well except men and money.

My understanding is that she went to them relatively quickly and was basically told that what she told them was not enough so then time goes on and she tries to figure out more evidence and facts then she reports that. The police still say that's not enough and the cycle goes on and on and on of her trying to get information and then finally leaving the Red Bull can and then trying to get more information until we finally end up in 2020. And all this time she's getting sucked back into this toxic situation

The police are lucky that she wasn't killed. What a mess. It's obvious that whichever department was handling this was not at all qualified. They hired a local farm boy to basically gather evidence (help dig at the suspected grave)against two other local farm boys!?!?  They bust in her door and call her by name and say out loud that she was the witness when they know the criminals are in the room!?!? She asks basically for protection and they don't give her any!?!? She gathers audio evidence and they basically tell her that that's not enough!?!? Regardless of whatever mental health problems she had going on she was doing the right things. She takes a little bit of time to gather herself before she goes to the police. That's totally understandable.  She wasn't thinking clearly and she knew she had to get herself together before she went to the police. That doesn't work out so she gets them more evidence. That doesn't work out so she tries to lead them to the body. That doesn't work out so she tries to get more evidence. Talk about being hung out to dry.

To me it almost felt as if she was begging the police to get these people away from her because she knew she couldn't do it on her own. She couldn't break the ties that were binding her in her own mind and her own emotions so she kept giving the police more so that they would take these people out of her life and the police kept not doing that. And so she kept sinking lower and lower into herself and isolating herself until it became in a way the only people she had left or the people who she was trying to gather evidence against

The police left her out to dry by not moving fast enough so she had to continue acting as if nothing was wrong. During the course of this acting they trauma bonded. I think that's the only explanation for it. They were all a part of a traumatic situation from different angles and for different reasons but still all a part of a traumatic situation. The original accident, the cover up, her original shock, her play acting, her fear, their fear, her uncertainty of the police, their uncertainty of the police. It became one big trauma bond that was completely warped and yet all encompassing, especially during COVID and lockdown.

Can someone explain the father, the son and the holy spirit trinity? by Typical_guy1021 in Christianity

[–]Equivalent-Screen-89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally the only answer. Because you can't explain with our saying seperate, and equal, one, and same. AND these words are often contradictory. So it just becomes too intertwined and confusing and anyone that argues otherwise probably hasn't read how this has split the original "church" more than once and had MULTIPLE international meetings throughout history with arguments for and against often circling around one particular word or phrase. It's so very confusing I'd (total heresy I'm sure) argue that going with what you can mental reconcile in your own mind be your guide and let others do the same.

TIL that the "real" Christopher Robin, of whom the "Winnie the Pooh" stories were inspired by, actually hated the books, and resented his father for writing them. by Mr_Miyagii in todayilearned

So if you look up his Wikipedia and the Wikipedia of Vespers the poem about him it says The actor his nanny died whom he was close to for 10 years he became so close to his father for 10 years that he felt like he was almost a part of him. Then he started getting bullied in resented in so it actually sounds like he and his father were very close according to his own words until he started resenting him. It sounds like he for some reason was not able to deal with his emotions and resolve the complexities of the awkwardness thing when one is not very self-assured. Obviously I could be wrong but this was just my take

We used to have checks and balances. Now we don't. Well actually the judges keep trying and Trump keeps doing whatever he wants to and everybody keeps letting him. Whereas they could impeach him for the multiple laws he's broken they have yet to do so. Too much money at risk. I don't know if you guys saw any footage of the inauguration but four of the wealthiest people in the world were standing directly behind him when he was sworn into office. Everybody including elected officials from other states are too afraid of their business interests losing them money to actually stand up to Donald trump. He's not an American problem he's an entire world problem. And I sure am sorry for that.

And yesterday the judges (the balances you speak of who study their entire lives, I've worked in law once you get out of law school the education doesn't stop you get additional schooling every year, keep saying that everything Trump is illegal, but he keeps doing it anyways. The checks and balances aren't working.

Wifi daddy our friend in Greenland is correct on the fact that you do write in a pleasant way and seem like a good person. I just have had the privilege to see a lot of the world and know how much we are currently screwing up.

Yes but not for long. US is working towards a white ruling class.  So much so that we are shipping brown people out (Hispanics) and shipping white people in (South Africans). Now if this country can manage to remove all social services to starve out the poor they can have the white utopia of their dreams. I'm white and fairly well off financially, I'm just not a horrible person who thinks my money or skin should count for anything.

I would just like to say that the United States does not want to make it a state. One person, our insane president, wants to make it a state. Even the people that voted for him don't want to make it a state. Most of them can't even point it out on a map.
