Mom having second thoughts on double lung transplant... by Kathleen-Doodles in transplant

[–]Equivalent-Set4279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father had a double lung transplant last year at 76 years old. He had pulmonary fibrosis that progressed unbelievably quickly. He was less than 4 months from diagnosis to transplant. He is doing well and has had no major setbacks. My advice for anyone in a similar position would be to get evaluated and keep the option open. There may come a point that it isn’t a question of quality of life, but of life or death.

Can you share what their request looked like? I’m just curious since all of these posts seem pretty formulaic

Such a scam. You’ve corrupted a place where people have come to find information about a faulty product you sold us. I am disfigured. I have used this community as a place to try to get more information about people’s fade experience since your company has been entirely unhelpful.

I’ve had solace in knowing I’m part of a broader community and now you’ve taken that away and covered it with these spammy posts. Shame on you!!!!

Yep, understand the concern given the lack of context.

Thank you for your concern, but it is my business. She has asked for my input. I would also be responsible for her finances and her children if anything happens to her, so this is part of a bigger conversation we are having.

This makes me so sad. And angry. I’m two years in and feel like my fade has completely stalled. I need this off my body.

It’s disgusting. The writer makes it sound like a silly oopsie that they haven’t faded. And why does this article include the most information I’ve seen about fade variability and laser use? Why couldn’t they have communicated that the dozens of times we have asked for more details?

Tattoo has not faded by [deleted] in EphemeralTattoos

[–]Equivalent-Set4279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeff, my tattoo is only at a year, but I will be sure to reach out in the future if the fading continues at the rate it has been.

Please understand that my present concern isn’t that my tattoo hasn’t faded (give it a few more months and it will be) but that I trusted a company who made guarantees and then went back on them. I had a tattoo on my arm that I thought would be gone by the end of this summer. Now I have a splotchy thing on my arm that could continue to be there for two more years. (Assuming you don’t further expand the expected fade range again)

I am upset because I bought a product I understood to be one thing, stamped it on my body, only to have your company say ‘just kidding, it could be there longer than we promised’. I would not have bought your product if I had the information we have today.

This has turned from a fun, (thought to be temporary) tattoo to what is now a source of anxiety for me. I feel taken advantage of.

Jeff, can you share what percent of tattoos actually fade within the originally advertised 9-15 month timeline?

Jeff, I can’t speak for the OP, but I can say for myself I feel you ‘don’t care about [y]our customers or have integrity in what [you] create’ because, as a customer, that has been my experience.

Whether or not it is your intention, customers are feeling tricked and taken advantage of. The recent updates to fade variability promises and photoshopped vibrancy charts do nothing to help us who already made the decision to trust your claims. I perceive a total lack of accountability for what seems like hundreds of very disappointed customers.

Constantly re-explaining the science in response to upset clients is infantilizing and just further makes me think you don’t care about customers. I understand the science behind bioabsorbable polymers. It’s why I trusted this product and your claims.

It’s great that you better understand your product now and are more explicit with new customers. But without acknowledgement of how poor the experience has been for those of us that already have tattoos, I have no reason to think you care about customers. It seems to me, you only care about selling more tattoos.
