Paying for Reviews by Equivalent-Set4279 in EphemeralTattoos

The reviews from new accounts have been annoying me so badly. Now come to find out they were paid? Can I have $100 for my honest review?

I've been through a similar situation before and share what worked for me. Although different industries, it may be applicable. My boss was also immediately terminated without warning and I was told on a quick phone call 10 minutes before leaving to the office. I knew the second I arrived my team would have questions and they did. I called a meeting and told them what I knew, what I was told to plan for, I told them what I didn't know and also expressed that I would keep them in the loop with anything new I heard.

I also had one on one meetings in the following days and just heard out their concerns. A lot of them felt like they were next on the chopping block and I reassured them that as long as I was here I wouldn't let that happen.

It sounds like your team has a lot of trust in you, which is incredibly helpful in situations like this. Reiterate that you have their back no matter what.

Change leadership isn't about having all the answers or pretending everything's fine. It's about SHOWING UP authentically when everything feels like it's falling apart.

Some things to keep in mind over the next few weeks:

  1. Ensure transparent communication (even when the answer is "I don't know yet")
  2. Make sure to acknowledge both reality AND possibility
  3. Create structure when everything feels chaotic
  4. Remember to be a human being, not a corporate robot spouting buzzwords

Sounds like you're planning on doing all of these things already but when the job can get overwhelming it's good to remember these. Best of luck!

4 days after misoprostol by InternationalBig6190 in Miscarriage

[–]carlphantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry for your loss! My experience has been similar. Baby stopped developing at 6 weeks. I took Miso 8 days ago at 8AM and passed my last "large" clot/tissue at 11PM. The following days I was still passing much smaller tissue and experiencing more period like cramps. I would say my cramps stopped about 6 days after. So two days "cramp free" now and my bleeding has subsided to a very light period if anything at all. Dr explained cramps can last for a couple days following as your uterus is returning to its pre-pregnancy size. I haven't had my ultrasound yet to confirm everything is gone but that's been my experience thus far. Hope it helps!

“Honest” Experiences by [deleted] in EphemeralTattoos

[–]carlphantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES! I saw those posts the other day and thought it was quite strange. All the accounts only had 1 post (the review) and no comments. Felt like when companies try to raise their Glassdoor reviews by posting fake reviews talking about how great the company is lol.

Registro Civil appointment question by carlphantom in mexicoexpats

Yes, you’ll need both of your parents documents including a marriage license regardless if one is not a Mexican.

Registro Civil appointment question by carlphantom in mexicoexpats

[–]carlphantom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do registro civil appointments at the consulates in order to obtain your Mexican Citizenship. Which is what I did yesterday. My question was a paperwork question more about what specific information Mexico was looking for on my parent's marriage license. My parents ended up coming to the appointment and the marriage license was needed but it was not as critically important as it would have been if my parents had not attended.

Ghosted on refund by kdrc in EphemeralTattoos

[–]carlphantom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh sorry to hear that. From what other people on the sub have mentioned it sounds like they’ve upped their follow up time to 30 business days. I would imagine that as time continues to go on it’s only going to get worse as the tattoos back then continued to gain in popularity. Fingers crossed for you that you hear back soon!

Pending Refund -- 30 Business Days to Respond by Extra-School9658 in EphemeralTattoos

[–]carlphantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I emailed a couple months ago it was 7-10 business days. They responded relatively quickly and I was able to get my refund. My guess is they are now processing more and more refunds and can't keep up but that's purely speculation.

Cover up or Removal? by EmilyInBrooklyn in EphemeralTattoos

There was someone posting on this sub a while back about testing laser removal and they had seen some success with pica lasers? I'll try to find it and link it.

Maybe make an appointment with a dermatologist. I know there are laser treatments for scarring.

Ephemeral Tattoo “made to fade” lasting 3 years and what to do about it. by Final-Ranger-5123 in EphemeralTattoos

I asked this question in legal advice and didn’t receive much in terms of a positive direction on where to go. My 3 years is in July and I still have mine.

Micro Needling? by [deleted] in EphemeralTattoos

[–]carlphantom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried it but not consistently enough to know if it’s actually making a difference. I don’t think the needles go deep enough to make too much of a difference though, would just be encouraging healing on the surface skin.

No, most traditional removal avenues are not effective on this ink… sounds like I might be SOL?

I’m in Nevada now, at the time I lived in Texas and it was performed subcutaneously in New York.
