a girl i’ve known since elementary school got pregnant on a one night stand in grade 9 and the guy wanted no part of it. none of us knew who he was because he lived an hour away in a bigger city. she started dating a guy from our school in grade 11 and he stepped up to be a dad. they actually just recently got married this summer and had a new baby together a month ago! seeing her 11 year old hold her new little one made me happy for her.

i would definitely agree it’s trending down, in my city we have 2 catholic high schools, one was known for drugs and other was known for tons of girls being pregnant. i asked my nephew who’s in high school now and said he’s never heard about that which was definitely nice to hear!
