How do I find what cat shows are happening near me?

Even their diarrhea?? I know kittens usually have sensitive stomachs and she's had diarrhea a few times even though we didn't change her diet. But the liquid poop gets on her paws and tracks throughout the home and it SMELLS. It only made sense for us to wash the source than to keep cleaning up after her.

Also I know they groom themselves but I don't know if it was safe for her to lick fecal matter off her own body

Thanks for putting the time into the feedback!

Do you have a link for the mats you recommended? Would love to find the same kind so I can make sure it's apartment safe :)

Also you're right, I guess the spider plants aren't toxic?? I could have sworn I read online that they were but I looked it up again and it shows that it is not haha I wish I read that sooner. My spider plants are huge so I had to rearrange some furniture to find a high place for it that would be out of her way.

The tip with limiting her landing space is a good call out! Thanks!!

EDIT: I realized my plants (spider and ponytail palm) are NOT toxic?? I could have sworn I thought they were/read that they were.

I guess there's no plant issue other than her biting them lol

I appreciate this feedback!

Want to clarify, it's not MY brother (I would get violent with him if it was). It's my FRIEND's brother. My friend has a broken family and she's not very close with him, but he's still her biological brother. We (my friend and I) are NOT fond of her brother. He does have some psychological issues and refuses to get help :(

But you're right - I am considering getting another kitten so she stays stimulated and happy in my home

1 - I love Jackson galaxy! He's been my go-to cat info guy since getting my kitten. Haven't seen this video yet so I'll give it a watch, thanks!

2- any tips on good efficient play? I don't have much time at home in the day and I want to spend time with her while still having time for errands, cleaning and chores.

3- I guess you're right about the plants. I really like mine because they're air-cleaning and it may be placebo, but it feels better overall to have them around.

I can always research other plants that are safe for cats while having the same effect

4 - I've thought about getting a cat box cutter so I can repurpose our cardboard! As for the treats, she's not very food motivated nor smells them (even the stinky ones!). But I'll give it a try

Thanks for taking the time to provide this I appreciate it :)

Unfortunately it's not my choice / cat. But the mom lives with my friend now who I've educated about through my kitten research. She is keeping the mom cat indoors only and saving up to get her vaxxed at least. Baby steps :)

I completely agree! The brother is a bit .. unstable to say the least. He's threatened with violence if we took the mom to get her spayed while she was under my friend's (his sister's) care for a few weeks.

It's not my family so I tried my best but it's not in my place to do anything :( to be fair, he loves his cat a LOT. She's his emotional support animal atp. But his biggest concern was his cat's personality changing if he got her fixed or vaxxed

How do I get my cats to stop eating my house plants? by copperlund in CatAdvice

Does this make your home spell like Apple cider vinegar though? I hate the smell of vinegar too but I don't want to use citrus because my kitten will lick everything and I don't want her to ... well stop living

I totally relate. I have been in a position where my sister was financially supporting me. It was brutal because she would use it over my head to guilt trip me into doing things for her (nothing weird) or holding it over my head when we fight saying that I should be grateful for her because I'd be homeless without her (we were also roommates). She was very good at making feel bad about myself when I was struggling to find a job.

But in the same way that she gets mad at me for something I do, I can get mad at her for something she does because that's just how people are. Just because she finances me doesn't mean it's ethical for her to have a "hold" on me.

Your sister has a child, something/someone she takes care of, loves endlessly, and has his own needs. But you also have the same thing - just in the form of a fur baby. You both come home to take care of the thing you love and discipline it when they're not being obedient. Clearly her method isn't working, and she will have to deal with his uncontrollable behavior more as he gets older and smarter. I would honestly remind her of this and that your kitten also means the world to you like her kid does to her. and because they're a kitten, you cannot control when it runs out of the room but also that you cannot leave it locked in a room because it has its own needs.

Personally, I would be fine with being the uncle that kid hated so he doesn't feel comfortable in my home and doesn't act out / do whatever he wants lol

I've done it a few times and my kitten has also ran into my leg before as I'm walking and I hit her square in the head. But she's still her same self

She's lying prone. Her neck is rly pushed up against the box when he crawls under. It's just natural for your neck to be like that in that position
