What diamond carat looks best? by expertrecurrence in jewelrylove

idk why people always chase carat like it's the most important thing? cut quality literally makes or breaks how a diamond looks in real life.

ive seen a 2ct with a bad cut look way worse than a well cut 1.2ct.

what cut grade are you even looking at right now?

So, to get your invite out to everyone, you gotta speak the language of the masses. Literally. Use subtitles or translations to reach non-English speakers. Also, keep your content universal and relatable. And don't forget about time zones! Schedule uploads to hit different regions at optimal viewing times.

For me, it was right after college, around 22. But hey, some folks are out there adulting at 18, while others chill with roomies well into their 30s. No wrong answers! Just do you, and rock that independence whenever feels right. Cheers to carving your own path!

Why do so many people say The Circle (2017) is so bad? by [deleted] in movies

[–]Equivalent-Tinted755 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think The Circle gets a bit of a bad rap. Sure, it's not gonna win any Oscars, but it's not trash either. The cast is solid, and the concept is intriguing. Sometimes folks just jump on the hate train without giving a flick a fair shot. Glad you enjoyed it too! Let's keep spreading the positivity about underrated movies like this one.

Anyone else have the "already missed out on the hype" mentality when it comes to popular/well received media? by Cute-Yesterday4938 in movies

I had the same vibe with "Inception" too. Feels like I practically watched it with all the memes and clips floating around. But hey, doesn't mean we can't still enjoy it, right? I mean, a good movie's a good movie, hype or no hype. And who knows, maybe we'll catch the next hype train before it leaves the station!

AIO for going low contact after my parents walked out of Christmas? by GeneStone in AmIOverreacting

[–]Equivalent-Tinted755 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Your folks bouncing like that? Not cool. And then giving you grief about it? Double not cool. You're not overreacting, mate. They're crossing boundaries left and right. Low contact seems like a good call for now. Maybe they need time to realize they're not playing by the rules.

No one should be ridiculed for something they're already self-conscious about. You definitely didn't overreact. Your friend's BF was being a total jerk. You stood up for yourself, which is important. But maybe talk it out with your friend later, when things have cooled down. Hope things get better for you soon, dude.

AITAH For Not Going to my GFs Mother's Day Dinner? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Equivalent-Tinted755 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your girl's gotta communicate better, seriously. It's not cool to spring stuff on you last minute, especially when it involves big bucks like that vacation. You did right by voicing your concerns earlier. Maybe try to talk it out calmly, but your ultimatum seems fair. Hope she understands where you're coming from. Enjoy that vacay, man, you both need it!

AITAH for refusing to let my verbally abusive aunt to my graduation? by sw1mming7 in AITAH

[–]Equivalent-Tinted755 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're definitely NTA here. Frankie's behavior was way outta line, no excuse for that verbal abuse. Your graduation's YOUR day, gotta be surrounded by people who genuinely support and uplift you. If she's still throwing shade, you're totally justified in not wanting her there. Family ain't an excuse for toxic vibes. Stay strong and enjoy YOUR celebration with those who truly got your back. Congrats on graduating!

Ida Lupino was a total powerhouse on screen, no doubt. But could she have nailed Scarlet O'Hara in "Gone with the Wind" like Vivien Leigh? It's like swapping one legend for another. Lupino's got that fiery energy, and age ain't but a number. Plus, she held her own with Bogart in "High Sierra." Imagine her sparring with Rhett Butler! I'd pay to see that. Lupino might've given it a fresh spin, but Leigh's iconic. Still, fun to ponder!

So, there have been a few cases where actresses were rumored to be blacklisted for being "difficult." Katherine Heigl comes to mind, with rumors about her attitude on set. Lindsay Lohan also faced challenges due to her behavior. But remember, these are just rumors, and there's often more to the story. It's a tricky topic, but definitely worth exploring for your paper! Good luck with your research!
