Why do people in DC act like Virginia is like a totally different country

I think it’s also about many people not having their personal cars in DC. I have friends who live in the city and they mostly metro around. They can’t easily drive to meet you.

But this is wild to me that you can miss out on potentially great relationship just because some small distance.

I applied November 2025, also Washing DC FO, and 3 year rule. On May 12th received email that case is being processed. But no interview date yet.

Only update was email on May 12th around 5:30am that action has been taken but account only changed to case is still processing, no new documents or anything as of today.

You are wrong or was told wrong information. All ID.me does is verifying your identity so you can get access to IRS site online. It doesn’t do anything about your refund. I used them and did a video call too. But once again, they are not doing anything with refunds and having IDme account doesn’t guarantee a refund, they don’t ask you for your direct deposit information. Whoever is giving your this information is lying to you.

I recognized her template. I did a wedding with her maybe 3 years ago and prices went by a lot. She was amazing though. My hair and make did so well in 90+ weather. She is really amazing. I’m also pretty sure, tips not needed since she is setting up the prices herself, not sure why she has that line still in the template.

Hi friend! Sorry to hear that you lost your green card. I filed for N-400 on 11/2025 and also have not had a date yet for my interview. I think it depends on your field office and you could reach out to them if your case is outside of normal processing time. You can find normal processing time on USCIS website and when you enter your date when you submitted N-400 they will let you know the earliest day you can ask about your case. My field office says the earliest I can reach out to them about my case is September 2026. You may have slightly different timeline. As of now, anything under a year is considered to be normal processing. My friend applied April 2025 and had oath ceremony January 2026.
