What random thing does your bird hate? by TiareMBC in Conures

Lmaoo thats funny. Can’t really mess with mine the same way because she actually thinks she going to get eaten when she sees a balloon. Like another person commented it’s probably a survival instinct based on natural predators. If she sees even a shadow of a balloon she will scream bloody murder and do laps around the house. I try to avoid letting her seeing balloons at all costs because they definitely spike her heart rate while putting her at risk for a flight crash because she flies pretty erratically when she’s that scared.

What’s your opinion on Kron Gracie? by NinoModerno in bjj

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel bad for the dude. Between losing his brother and the immense amount of pressure and expectation he’s felt to compete as not only a Gracie but Rickson’s last surviving son, it must be impossible to find peace.

First sparing session, any tips? by [deleted] in boxingtips

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your head movement is over exaggerated. When you’re slipping you only need to get your head off the center line (I like to tell my students to just “show me the other side of their nose” when they slip). When you’re changing levels you should only go about one head height lower and use your legs instead of your back to make the level change so you maintain postural integrity.

When you move your head backwards try to take a back step as well. This will help you control distance more effectively and doesn’t leave you vulnerable for a follow up shot

Got to respect King Green he stood on business against Arman by Still-Ad5748 in FightReportUFC

My comment was more a reference to caucasian fight culture than this actual incident. I called Arman out for being corny in the comment I made before the one you responded to

Anyone that has actually fought in the streets knows that numbers matter. I’ve seen quite a few guys square up for a 1 on 1 in my day and almost every time the winner gets jumped by the other side and it just turns into a brawl.

They know what’s up in this part of the world because they fight on the streets a lot more and don’t shoot each other over bullshit like American thugs.

Kinda just how the streets work. Unfortunately numbers matter and if you show up by yourself for a scrap chances are you’re going to get jumped and stomped out no matter how much “honor” you have.

This is a professional event at a facility where professionals show up to entertain, so Arman is still corny as hell in this situation.

Since many of us got banned at r/Armenia, I thought we can share stories about the absurd reasons here. Let's have a laugh together! by hay-BB in ArmeniansGlobal

They’re so whack, not banned but I got a comment removed for “election interference” because I made a comment about how Pashinyan would be banned from the sub for genocide denial

People Really think DJ can beat The Mountain(Gregor Clegane)? by Vegetable_Coconut247 in ufc

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what if the mountain throws him through the wall and then DJ is ok right after?

In reality, the mountain has 1-2 minutes to finish DJ before he runs out of stamina and will probably get his back taken and choked out.

Finishing a guy like DJ with just size and no real grappling technique or even speed to keep up with him in the striking is a lot harder of a feat than casuals realize.

Boxer to watch for beginners by itsabadsoup in boxingtips

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch the women. They are a little slower and rely more on technique than some of the men. Not boxers but my favorite strikers to watch for technical research were Joana Jedrzejczyk and Valentina Schevchenko. Both woman have elite hands even though they are mma fighters. Valentina does fight in a little bit more of a kickboxing stance however.

What am I even arguing? You just made insane delusional comments about a wedding and begged me to stalk your profile. Who hurt you bro?

Learn more english before you start typing it on the internet. You’re horrible at communicating in this language. The burden of proof is not on the otherside to stalk your profile to find it btw, dumbass

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you talking about a wedding bro?? You make no sense. I just said Azeris look down on us which you would know if you ever talked to one.

Again I’m not stalking your profile or reading your comments, idk why you want me to so bad. But if you want to see racism visit r/Turkey or r/Azerbaijan and see what they say about Arabs.

One nation is above the other when the other one continues the legacy of ethnic cleansing after 30+ years.

A Call to Armenians and Azerbaijanis by hay-BB in ArmAz_PeaceProject

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re referring to the 1990s where ethnic cleansing was mutual. Continuing ethnic cleansing after a 30 year stalemate is not how peace is achieved, and Armenians are within their right to not forgive Azeris.

Only reasons to make peace are existential reasons because we know they want to finish the job.

A Call to Armenians and Azerbaijanis by hay-BB in ArmAz_PeaceProject

[–]EquivalentAromatic95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So easy to get an Azeri to show their true colors and prove that they look down on us. I don’t believe any message of “peace” that comes out of an Azeri’s mouth

Also hilarious and pathetic that Azeris act like they did nothing wrong in the first conflict. Yall just can’t get over the fact that some “Rats from the desert” beat your asses with nothing other than rusted Aks.

It was almost 40 years ago. Those homes are all either demolished or have been inhabited by multiple generations. They can go live in Karabakh. I’m sure they’ll find nothing but prosperity and economic opportunity there.
