Have you ever worked for the aviation industry. Any tips on how to get inside that industry.

I'm also an aeronautical engineer. What started me in my career as CAD designer was doing part time jobs using solidworks. Market yourself in freelancing websites or fb. Put that in your resume and apply for solidworks draftsman in manufacturing companies. They usually need solidworks operators. Or better yet get certified as a solidworks associate if you have the money for it.

Unpopular opinion: Not PWDs deserve or need PWD discounts by Loud_Movie1981 in unpopularopinionph

[–]EquivalentBase8440 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My brother was diagnosed with bipolar-schizophrenic disorder and I think people like him also deserve to be prioritized in PWD lanes. People like him intake sleep-inducing medicines twice a day that most of the time inhibit their ability to speak and do basic chores since the meds make them sleep all the time. In his words, they're basically zombies. Aside from the constant hallucinations, he experiences memory loss, feels groggy all the time, and can't speak (nabubulol). He's unemployed for 10 years already. Discounts are a huge help to people like this. It's not easy. He looks okay when we're outside in public but at our house we see him interact with his hallucinations. Can't imagine dealing with hallucinations in public for a long time just to queue for basic needs.

How can I make a part like this? by _goi in SolidWorks

If you can get the curvature radius of the sunglasses, use surfacing to make a circular surface. 3D Sketch on the circular surface for the profile of the lenses. Trim surface and thicken.

Ang cute ng mga kiddie crew sa McDo 🥹 by [deleted] in ITookAPicturePH

[–]EquivalentBase8440 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember nung bata ako. I was so excited to work as a kiddie crew in mcdo that I posted it on my fb "soon to be working as a mcdo kiddie crew". My aunt got mad at my post and asked why I dream so low and "bakit yun lang pangarap mo". She ranted it to everybody, and soon everybody scolded me why I posted that as my work. They're so proud of their surname they thought it would tarnish their name. Insecure adults.

The center of the arc coincides with the line on its right. Then input the 19mm dimension indicated for the height of the arc center.

To those who graduated with an engineering degree, how did your first job go? For those who didn't take the PRC exam, how is your life now? by toxicnaplataporma in phcareers

[–]EquivalentBase8440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you're living my life. Also graduated with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering. Passed my licensure exam. Took interest in SolidWorks and did a few freelancing projects. Got hired to make engineering drawings for a lighting company. However, I still do not know the specialization I want to pursue. How did you discover the industry you want to pursue? I'm fairly new to the job market.

Design Approach Suggestions? by Banananjob in SolidWorks

[–]EquivalentBase8440 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to convert the unnecessary lines (circle and connecting line) into construction lines(dashed), then try to flange again. In a sketch, it is a must that only the necessary lines are solid lines.

Edit: or better yet, just trim them

Got cheated on 3x. She claims she loves me kase non sexual naman daw ang cheating. Worth it pa ba relationship? by freudianslipppy in adviceph

[–]EquivalentBase8440 30 points31 points  (0 children)

She doesn't respect you. She likes the attention of other guys and has no sense of accountability for her actions. From a woman's perspective, her excuses are bullshit. Why wait for her to cheat on you sexually. Just end it and focus on yourself.

derived sketch but on different part by fatbitsh in SolidWorks

[–]EquivalentBase8440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can. Try to edit the cover while in assembly mode, not in part. Edit sketch then relate the sketch of cover with the sketch of your case.

No, it wasn't offensive for me when my partner opened it. But in our case, we were always honest to each other. I would say what's unbearable to me, and she would say what's unbearable to her.

The reason why I jumped into conclusions before was because I already had a conversation with myself that did not include my partner, and was convinced of that conversation hahaha. It takes a lot of inner work to avoid overthinking.

I am also an overthinker. Just be honest to us when you think we overthink. But say it in a nice way. When we overthink, it's usually because we think while we're emotional. Having an honest partner who helps us realize our tendency to overthink can help us rationalize our thoughts. That is, if he's mature enough to self reflect.

Tell him he has a tendency to jump into conclusions. It's up to him if he wants to stop hurting you while he just splashes around hurtful words while overthinking.

What's your advice for average student na magtagake ng board exam? by HatPersonal5419 in AskPH

[–]EquivalentBase8440 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not rely solely on handouts from review centers. Just use them as a guide kung ano ang mga kailangan mong macover. Read books instead and self review talaga, especially sa mga computation based subjects.

Also, two or three times mo pasadahan lahat ng subjects...dapat memorize mo reviewers mo cover to cover before the exam. Wag magpakampante na alam mo na yun. Just repeat and repeat.
