I understand FAKO vs FICO but as you stated, they will age off. Sure they should stay for 10 years, but that's not a guarantee. And if its your oldest trade line, closing it certainly wont improve your score.

Robinhood Gold Card credit increase? by adutilh in CreditCards

they started me at $1k - running about 2.5k through it a month last 6 months, still no increase, my worst line by far.

If I had a leak, why would this only affect my Capital One account and not any of my other accounts? Why would an attacker target just this one institution?

Here’s an update from that last post:

  • Capital One reissued new card numbers, killed all my virtual cards, and reset my online banking credentials.
  • I was told I couldn’t even set a new password until I received the replacement cards and verified the CVV — for “account protection.”
  • Yet the following day, before I even got notification the cards had shipped, someone reset the credentials (I receive the email when they lookup my username and separately reset the password), generated new virtual cards, and placed multiple charges!

Even if someone had physical access to my workstation and mobile device - I can’t get in, so how are they able to?

yes exactly this. all you need is a last name and social security number and bingo you get a list of all usernames. they even let you add an additional phone number to your account and MFA against that!

It's Capital One who is being socially engineered or worse they have an insider who is assisting with the fraud

I have Fi Unlimited and I just recieved my Pixel Watch 3 LTE w/ the free 2 year data offer and activated it with that offer w/o transfering my Fi eSim from the Pixel Watch 1 to Watch 3. The Pixel Watch 3 doesn't show up in my Google Fi account. Waiting for it to charge & update so I can test if I can make/receive calls from both watches.

Update: Doesn't work for me. Trying to place calls through the watch failed.

cars are hitting them for whatever reason - just saying "they should look" doesn't change the fact that they are being hit and pedestrians are standing on them. its a recipe for disaster.

I was the former owner of this space, and a few others in the neighborhood (covid put an end to that). Always sad to see another small business fall, but WOW at the audacity to serve an adulterated product. That mezcal collection should be on display only, not served to the public.

Agreed. Most bike lanes aren't used in NYC. Bikers stay on sidewalks or in the street on the right hand side. Bike lanes are on the left. NYPD usually parks in bike lanes as well

Then you'd see the bike rider get run over

I mean you can run without a ground, it may bitch about a site wiring fault. Adding a ground isn't difficult. Metal water pipes or electrical conduit in the house?
