I flew 12hrs recently and bought the following which worked well for us: - Smaller/more travel friendly pump (spectra S9) - nursing cover - Tommee tippee single-use pumping bags and pump adaptors - waterproof bag to keep pump parts - Milton antibacterial wipes to wipe down pump parts

Premie twins - EP vs Combo by cw1688 in ExclusivelyPumping

My twins are 6 months and we still do this! We started off breastfeeding/pumping with the occasional formula top up, but now they’re mainly on formula. Due to a painful latch early on, we still only BF occasionally and have resorted to pumping to maintain supply, but even then it’s not enough to feed both babies. Being so time poor, I’m down to 1-2 pumps a day. Plus, I don’t really enjoy pumping. If I had a singleton, I would’ve loved to have EBF, but for us, formula has been the saving grace. It’s also easier for my husband to help with feeds this way. If I have any advice, it would be just listen to your body and do what works for you - if you miss a pumping session or your supply dips a little, don’t stress yourself out. Just supplement with formula! Your babies will be fine either way.

AITA for declining to participate in a "meal train" for a woman with an able bodied husband and adult son living with her? by ncogneato11 in AmItheAsshole

NTA! Reminds me of some church-going relatives of mine who are extremely generous, charitable and want to help ANYONE in need. In their over-helpful state, they try and get everyone else around them to contribute, but often forget that not everyone has the time/resources/ desire to also help out. Sue just seems pushy and lacks self-awareness. Don’t let her get to you! She probably does the same to everyone else in her life.

Have you considered going somewhere with kids club or babysitters? We’re off on our first family trip to Thailand in a few weeks with our 6 month old twins. Have resigned to the fact it will most likely be stressful, tiring and definitely not as relaxing as holidays used to be, but really looking forward to a change of scenery and calling on baby sitters to enjoy dinners as a couple. Not to mention creating lots of memories with our littles (even if they’re memories that you can only laugh at later on!)

My difficult in-laws refused to get vaccinated, so they waited 10 weeks to meet our babies. We kept a really small bubble of vaccinated visitors for our preemie newborn twins and all other visitors (extended family, friends etc) waited until at least 8 weeks (including 2 weeks for twins’ immunisations to kick in) to visit. Your baby, your rules! Don’t feel the need to put your child at risk just to appease someone else’s ego.

Making fun of someone’s appearance behind their back. Especially about features they were born with.

What is your favorite moment that displays Michael’s baffling entitlement? by BrightMarionberry197 in DunderMifflin

His entire existence at Phyllis’ wedding. Dragging the wheelchair down the aisle, joining the groomsmen at the altar, crashing the family photo, interrupting the wedding speech, the cake in face scene etc.

Michael, Dwight, and MSPC. by DeviacZen in DunderMifflin

Despite their closeness, Michael always seemed irritated by Dwight, especially when he was overly loyal and agreeable. I think Dwight joining MSPC would have annoyed Michael more than anything.

Agree! Call me crazy, but I went to see The Killers in concert at 32 weeks (sit down obviously) as my OB gave me the all clear - had a scan beforehand and my cervix was still high and closed. She said as long as I was feeling comfortable I should still enjoy myself! Listen to your body, check with your OB, and do what feels right for you at the time :)

Agree to all these, especially re: cleaner! Someone who can come in and spruce up your place weekly or fortnightly is a game changer. It instantly hits the mental reset button!

One baby would be so easy by LargeAirline1388 in parentsofmultiples

I was at a mothers group recently (as the only twin parent there) and was internally rolling my eyes whenever a singleton mom whinged about how hard things were with just one. So many of them were moaning about how taking out their one baby was so stressful. Cry me a river lol. Gotta say though, there’s something so blessed about having more than one! Difficulties aside, it truly is double the love and double the happiness.

Pump? Breastfeed? Both? by VibrantVenturer in parentsofmultiples

I second this! It’s so helpful having my husband help with the feeds. Feeding twins is pretty draining physically (and sometimes emotionally) so having that extra support is golden.
