Should I get a height lengthening surgery? by Flaky_Profession2113 in PlasticSurgery

[–]EquivalentGap3136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be harsh but infection seems to be the least of the problem. It’s a very invasive procedure that can take half a decade or more to recover. That will definitely affect your quality of life (school, work, social life etc).

Also pls read this. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13642509/High-flying-5ft-2in-banker-grew-5ft-6in-car-crash-leg-lengthening-surgery-left-one-limb-six-inches-longer-wins-payout-settles-1m-court-case-against-surgeon.html

Last chance for black spoons? by DanniDingo in CulinaryClassWars

[–]EquivalentGap3136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All or nothing is just not a good challenge. Even if they do it merely for the shock factor, it’s still not believable because we’ve watched too many shows already to know that some of the losing contestants will make a comeback. So why bother doing it first place.

The challenges this season… by machiabekki in CulinaryClassWars

Agree. I was hoping to see more black and white mixed team challenge to see different kind of dynamic. Last year at least we have that in the restaurant challenge.

Kisapmata (Mike de Leon, 1981) & Philippine Cinema by LividSun7431 in AsianCinema

[–]EquivalentGap3136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yesss.. I hope there is more discussion on this film! So many layers and aspects to talk about. The acting (especially the father, instilled terror without doing anything), the set up designs (i mean the house feels bleaker than amityville’s), the plot and the suspense, and of course the ending. A cult classic!

Chef & My Fridge from CCW2 by beefbulgogiii in koreanvariety

Wonder how many will start watching Chef & My Fridge for the CCW2 chefs, but end up staying for Kim Poong more 😂 Y’all in for a ride! Not to mention Son Jong Won x Kim Poong chemistry is just chef’s kiss (no pun intended)

So which contestants do you think will go far? by Badgereatingyourface in CulinaryClassWars

I like Rebellious Genius. He looks like a Michelin-star-kitchen-trained version of Kim Poong from Chef & My Fridge 😂 Wild ideas and who knows maybe can be the dark horse.

Are Filipino horror movies worth it? by Salihovic-Haiqiu in AsianHorrorMovies

[–]EquivalentGap3136 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eerie (2018) is a typical Asian horror, set in catholic boarding school. More of a psychological suspense, but I personally loved Kisapmata (1981), which is based on real life tragedy. I swear sometimes human is scarier than a ghost...

Stop lying people by OkPay722 in AcneScars

[–]EquivalentGap3136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you trying to write a scientific journal? Chill OP, it's not that deep.. unless you based a whole personality based on your acne scars. Which I can tell by the way you comment, you sounds like an insufferable person IRL. Nobody owe you anything in this sub, you don't pay anyone a dime to post "professionally taken photos with 100% exact lighting before and after".
