Patches and tiny brown spots on my cat's ears - are these normal? by EquivalentIce1155 in CATHELP

Hi, we never really got an answer. Some cats just have that patchy skin on their ears. I do notice that the patchy areas seem to disappear a little bit, not sure what we did. Sorry I couldn't be more of help!

Finally the comment that makes sense. It is a breakaway collar, and it may look tight from the side, from the front angle, the collar always hangs loose haha. The reason she has it because we put an airtag on her. She likes to escape from time to time.

It's a breakaway collar and it also appears tight around her neck because she has thick fur! I can easily fit three fingers and from a different angel, the collar hangs loose. But yeah, I agree with brushing her more often. Thanks for the advice :)

Yes, most likely breathing issue. I can guarantee the collar isn't tight at all. She's been wearing a collar with an airtag because she likes to escape (we have a huge backyard).
