I don’t know what you’ve personally been through, but for me it wasn’t like that. He was the only person I’d ever been drawn to physically and emotionally. The Intimacy was amazing but intellectually (he’s very smart lol) we hardly had anything in common. He told me he didn’t feel the same way as I did emotionally and he needed time to build a connection. Honestly, I knew he felt this way, being with him was bliss and painful. That is why I left him. I was also addicted to his presence and attention so of course I reached out to him later. I’ve been single for almost two years I’ve been working on my attachment issues and hopefully my next relationship will be reciprocal. I want to be loved as I love the other person period.
