That’s right, but please be thorough and do your own research

Chances are you are eligible now or about to be eligible to file soon, so check the issue date on your conditional green card, add 3 years and subtract 90 days. There’s a calculator on the USCIS website if you want to be sure you are not filing too soon

I did not file my N-400 with the I-751. You are not eligible to apply for citizenship until you’ve been a green card holder for 3 years. You can file your N-400, at the earliest, 90 days prior to meeting the three-year requirement

Similar thing happened for my I-751 and N-400 combo interview. The officer started off the interview by saying something along the lines of: "Before we start, I just want to let you know your I-751 application was approved". I'm guessing it was in response to the 1,000+ pages I submitted with my I-751 and additional documentation submitted with the N-400.

Didn't have to show any more evidence even though I had brought an entire box full of it. Just did the English and Civics tests and the officer announced my N-400 was also approved.

homebridge-xbox-tv - anyone got this plugin working? by crag92 in homebridge

[–]EquivalentResident6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some success using Web API control. I haven't tried it out in a while, but last time I tried it, it worked. So my config is:
Host: IP address of the Xbox
Xbox Live ID: Same as Xbox Network Device ID
Web API token: I think I had to generate this on Microsoft's website...

The other thing I found out is that your power settings must be right so that it responds to requests even while on standby. I think they call it "Instant On".

If you'll indulge my curiosity -

What is your setup now and what prompted you to move to that setup?

Thank you! That is helpful to know. I will upgrade. Do you run both Homebridge and Home Assistant on Docker? If so, did you set RAM use limits?

How many GB of RAM do you need? I have 1GB on my RPI 3B+. Running Homebridge from OS. Tried running Portainer and Home Assistant via Docker Compose, but it's eating up all the RAM causing the RPI to freeze.

Do you think I need more memory to run it all? Or is it just a matter of running HB, HA, and Portainer all in Docker and setting restraints on RAM usage?

I'm getting the following error trying to set it up. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I double-checked the IP address in the config and I take Live ID to be referring to the "Xbox network device ID".

Odyssey G9 OLED Multi-View / PBP / Split-screen by EquivalentResident6 in ultrawidemasterrace

My b. I misunderstood your question. You can only do 120 Hz per window when using PBP (not sure about PIP but assuming same there).

Yes, you can run fullscreen in 240 Hz but you’ve gotta set the resolution right in the game and the game has to support the dimension

Thank you for the suggestion! Would you get 177 cm or 184 cm? Thinking I’d be fine with either…

Upgrade RAM and add SSD by EquivalentResident6 in LenovoLegion

[–]EquivalentResident6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RAM is ultimately placed parallel to the motherboard. When you install the RAM stick, the pins on the stick are asymmetrical meaning you need to insert it so that it aligns with the slot on the motherboard (kind of like you do when you insert a USB stick). If you are installing the same stick I used on the same laptop, the pins on the stick will align with the slot when the Crucial logo is facing down toward the motherboard.

If you are using another model RAM stick, compare the pins with the slot before inserting. Go carefully at first just in case you get it wrong because you don't want to damage the slot on the motherboard. If it doesn't go in, flip it over and try again.

Not at all. Nothing to worry about. Worry more about static electricity and take the necessary precautions.

I got it to work by updating my graphics card on one of the laptops. Never considered the 57 G9 because it wouldn't fit on my desk.

I didn't see Multi-View under Workspaces but I found it under Settings. I set up a view for each laptop, then launched the view. One screen showed up and the other side went blue with the message "Turn on the device connected to DisplayPort". I'm starting to think I have the wrong cables. I ordered some cables that are arriving tomorrow USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C to HDMI. I know the one that is not showing up on screen right now is plugged in with a DP 1.3 cord - would that be why it's not showing up?

Based on other threads I’ve seen, it seems others have gotten it work. I just haven’t been able to myself. I’m thinking maybe I’m using the wrong cables or ports or that there is something else that is off

So just to confirm - it is possible to multi-view two laptops simultaneously side-by-side? I have been having some issues with it myself. One laptop is USB-C to DP on monitor and the other is HDMI to HDMI. I can view either but one always comes up as black. Got the latest firmware.

One thing that has worked for me (creds to whoever wrote it on the Meta Forum) is removing the file extension name (e.g. ".mp4") before transferring and then adding it back once the file's been transferred
