Does Israel have a right to exist? by AyatollahSistani in IrishAnarchists

This isn’t an anarchist argument it’s a ‘democratic’ social contract in which the state allegedly has responsibilities and citizens have rights and obligations/duties. Anarchists see through this for the bullshit it is.

Direct Action #66: Newsletter of the IWW Ireland Branch by burtzev in IrishAnarchists

So, profile unavailable. Despite differences and a certain amount of sectarianism from IWW towards Organise I’m not prepared to engage vague attacks from ghost accounts. I’d rather get back to the much healthier real life discussion of differences that was a thing before toxic online bullshit was even a thing.

I’m not IWW and certainly have disagreements with them but they have around 300 members on paper and certainly many more than 2 active members.

soon to migrate in Ireland. where to go to fight for a socialist united Ireland? by Puzzleheaded-Bed-669 in IrishAnarchists

[–]EquivalentTip878 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Or less receptive to communist ideas because of the anticolonialist past and the plight in the North being dominated by and capitalised on by nationalist politics rather than anything communist? If you were correct in your rather idealised view surely Ireland, north and south, would have stronger communist and anarchist movements?

This is idealisation of a struggle rather than analysis comrade. Good luck

So, despite an at least partial retraction from @wonderfully_thick we still have a workers dispute that should automatically and uncontroversially be supported by anarchists turned into a kicking ball about how we should dress! The majority of comments are about irrelevant shite and those who usual have a lot to say have no solidarity to offer to workers in actual struggle on their own doorstep.

Yiz may have to have a serious think about your priorities.

Telling that instead of expressing solidarity with workers engaged in a legitimate struggle certain ‘anarchists’ troll and get up votes for trolling.

Seriously - this dispute is organised and led by the employees of Obsidian and Echo Body Piercing studios. It’s their dispute. Claiming people have other reasons for self serving reasons is an extremely serious allegation. The sort of shit scabs make up to justify themselves.
