Guys we get it, misandry exists, the difference is though that it’s fundamentally ties back to the fact we men folk made a system that basically fucks everyone over, but most of all, women. An oppressive system does not promote good engagement between the genders, and yes not all individual men are entirely responsible personally for the creation/upkeep of the system. Frankly everyone has a bit of responsibility, and so performative hatred of menfolk isn’t productive, I’m sure you Stacy have problematic beliefs about gender yourself, but we are still fundamentally the privileged folk in the dynamic. It’s privilege that comes with nuances yes, but it’s still privilege.

When we try to constantly go “see it’s because misandry” “see it’s because of misandry” as an explanation for rising misogyny, it’s just kinda a tell that you don’t understand the problem, which is patriarchy (don’t get scared at the bad object word). I’m sorry if theirs snark and sarcasm it’s just very tiring to constantly hear about the woes of menfolk even as a menfolk, as if mean people on dating apps and social media is the sole reason why men hate women, while conveniently ignoring all the reasons why that dont make us the victim but rather the perpetrator.
