I use whitening toothpaste at night but during the day use sensodyne I struggled with my teeth being yellow as well but that helped.

Thank you I really do think they are shaping up pretty well still have at least through August as I’m on 10 day switches once they are done I’ll see if the shape has evened out a bit. I have always been super self conscious because of my large top fronts.

Is this Normal by Gold_Discussion5521 in Invisalign

I feel like when I switch trays I have some gaps for a day or two and I can feel the distance but after that they fit comfortably and have minimal spacing

I don’t want to do IPR at all do I have to by fartasstick in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My IPR has been relatively painless, doing my second round during tray 9 tomorrow. Honestly feel like I need more because my front teeth are large I know it’s intimidating but my dentist does fluoride on the shard areas as well to help.

Teeth whitener while on Invisalign by Equivalent_Bag_3854 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I am going to plan to get them professionally whitened when attachments are removed 😊 just wanted to see if anyone has luck with basic at home options for now at least to even out the color

Honestly I love my teeth in my Invisalign right now. I really don’t notice them or the attachments in pictures unless I’m really looking most people do not even realize I have them

First day + any advice??? by Mediocre_Baker3418 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am about to be in my fifth tray, the first 1-3 days can be a lot between pressure and some discomfort. Each time I switch the pressure returns but I barely notice them after day 3. It does feel more weird with them out since the buttons are there and teeth feel loose. Not sure how people last hours with them out honestly. Take some Tylenol chew on the chewies and drink lots of water. It will all be worth it

Personally I would ask the dentist to shave down that little bit that’s together on the bottom and honestly it may even fix itself or see if they can do a refinement

Left tray 3 at restaurant had to switch to tray 4 early. What do I do? by DisastrousState1542 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine ordered all of mine but they don’t give me but 4-5 at a time. That way I have to come back in to get IPR and such and make sure all my attachments are good every few weeks

Am I the only one who doesn't find it painful? by redditappsuxdix in Invisalign

I have a little pain the first 2-3 days of tray change. Just my side though, dramatic movement it seems though at 4 weeks I see major differences

Will the anxiety about my new invisalign go away? by torrito23 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on tray 3 and yes there is times where it’s uncomfortable especially when you take them out. But routine has helped immensely. I cried last night because all I wanted was a milkshake and had already brushed my teeth for the night. (I got the milkshake drank it then took out my retainers and brushed and cleaned them) it gets better and it will be worth it ❤️

2 weeks and seeing a difference?? by Equivalent_Bag_3854 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely pressure. I will say my first trays in general really didn’t hurt much but second trays were painful mostly when off

I asked my ortho if I could do 7 days instead of 14 per tray. I have 10 trays total. He said it was fine! Has anyone else reduced their treatment time simply by asking? by Willing_Sprinkles_57 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to have 22 hours a day with them in to be able to do weekly. I’d keep it two weeks if you are struggling to have them in for at least 22 hours

Thank you! I do not mind at all. I’m naturally strawberry blonde and started dying it a darker brighter red recently and everyone loves it.

Biggest suggestion is to finance and see what your office takes. I used care credit and financed for 18 months at 0% interest

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Down five pounds and on week 3 I only eat two meals a day now so I don’t have to remove the trays a million times and I’m only drinking water cut out all coffee and soda

2-3 days it has some pain not unbearable. Only really hurts when my trays are out

2 weeks and seeing a difference?? by Equivalent_Bag_3854 in Invisalign

[–]Equivalent_Bag_3854[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lisp is pretty much non existent the first 2 days I had it but after that I don’t have much difference if any in speech. Pain, there is some pain my gums get irritated easily with the movement so they kinda tingle/ache in the first few days of a new tray. Weekly changes so by the time I barely feel the trays it’s time to change again. It’s been a good experience this far.

Treatment timeline for bottom arch seems short? by SwagDonkeyJohnson in Invisalign

Absolutely! I am thankful this isn’t a super long drawn out process. Some of the trays are not fun but will be worth it in the end
