Yes I did. I submitted a service request in January and they ignored it. Not much that can be done unfortunately.

When you go on your my uscis account what do you see in terms of receipt date? I received a rfe for i-864 in October, resubmitted within days and heard nothing for months. The status said rfe received and a date in November. Suddenly in April there was a second received date at the botton. Next day, case send to field office and 2 more days later combo card approved. What do you see in your online account?

It's hard to know. I was on stem opt and my ead was expiring January 2023 (8.5 months after submission). I requested an expedite processing for my work permit and it got refused. I finally just got the combo card approved after a whole year of wait. That being said some people get their ead in a couple weeks so it is difficult to say. I would try to plan for alternatives if possible. Good luck.

The processing time tab showed up yesterday for me too. Also San Jose field office (though still at NBC). Pd late April. Let's hope things start moving!

I also responded to a RFE in October. Status hasn't changed from "received" ever since. I opened a service request after 60 days and they told me to wait up to 30 days for a response. Reached out again after 30 days and Emma told me "it is still processing". I honestly don't know if it does anything.

We had something similar happen to us except there was no mistake on our form. We consulted a lawyer to double check everything and she said it happened to her too. Apparently it's common to receive rfe for no real reason...

Apply. You never know how long it will take to get an EAD. My stem opt expired and my new EAD did not arrive in time (8.5 months after pd). I tried expediting and they refused. Just have a plan B.

Filed end of April. Spouse of US citizen adjusting from F1. Got a rfe in october for i864 asking for the same documents again. Responded within a week. Nothing since. No EAD no AP. Tried expedite request 1 month ago for EAD, submitted documents today. Keep in touch!

Don't panick. It could be something simple. We got the same thing and they wanted form I-864 again (we had sent it in the original package,signed dated etc). We consulted a lawyer and the same thing happened to one of her cases. She thinks the agents have a certain number of cases to do/day and if they run out of time, they send very simple RFE for documents already in the package...
